Gwen Stefani's hideous plastic face

I'm reminded of the line in Sunset Boulevard, "There's nothing wrong with being 50 - unless you try to look 25". That seemed like a sensible comment to most people then (1950), about the futility of trying to look a lot younger than one's age. Norma Desmond, the aging star in the film, was considered sad and misguided for trying to be what she was not (young). Today it's considered not only acceptable but desirable. We all know Gwen is in her 50s so what is the crime in just letting it show?

I think that's a good picture of her. She lost the red lipstick, rockabilly hair, and the overall makeup seems toned down so she is listening to some of the comments. That soft pastel lavender is great on her.

I can't hate her look, she looks great. I don't mind BLAAAAAAAAAKE as a person/musician but not sure he's the right man for her. At least he seems into her and not other dudes or femboys so that's good.

I have always enjoyed her tacky yet luxurious, colorful and fun wardrobe.

She was absolutely beautiful when she was in No Doubt. Especially in the video for the song they did called Don't Speak. Why she has done this to her face is beyond me. She was already beautiful.

This is one of those times when I wonder if you bitches are blind. Yes, Gwen's had a fuckload of plastic surgery, but most of it was back in her 20s. With the lone exception of a smidge too much filler in her cheeks – given her the dreaded "chipmunk face" look, but that's at least fixable – she looks genuinely good for her age.

That said, the gold standard for looking absurdly great after 50 is still a tie between JLo & Jennifer Aniston. (Btw watching "The Morning Show" is interesting in this context if only because Julianna Margulies, who plays Reese Witherspoon's lesbo lover on it, looks WAAAAAAY the fuck older than Aniston, but is only a couple of years older than her in reality. Considering she was still largely wrinkle-free during her entire run on "The Good Wife," I'm assuming she said fuck it after the show ended in terms of Botox, fillers or any variety of plastic surgery.)

All that said, the one actress who REALLY looks almost identical to her appearance 20-25 years ago is Halle Berry (though yes, I know she - like Gwen - had a bunch of work done very early in her career). I know "black don't crack" and all that, but JFC!

I find Aniston’s face and speech distracting on The Morning Show. Her nose looks big and dark and there is so much Botox in her upper lip to smooth out her smoker’s lines that she can’t talk. And she can’t do drama. Her sad/hurt expression is hilarious. Her style and hair are very nice.

A "big and dark nose"?? The one surgery Aniston has DEFINITELY had – and it pre-dated even her stint on "Friends" was a nose job that significantly slimmed her originally wide, Grecian honker. Are you perhaps too used to seeing her in her full sitcom-level super-bright "Friends" era? (The only reason her nose would look "dark" is due to lighting, and TMS definitely has unusually dark sets – I assume to serve as a stark contrast to the hugely bright set for the morning show itself, which is pretty much what any morning-show set looks like.)

Also, you can't use Botox anywhere but your forehead & eye area (that's what Restylane is for - it's a dermal filler, and works on lips as well as cheeks, undereye areas & the jawline – well, that plus I think you're seeing things. She talks normally and her lips aren't moving oddly.

I stand by my post, r29. Her nose maybe smaller than her original but it is shaped like the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz and it is shaded. I don’t notice that with Reece’s. You can use Botox on your upper lip to get it to curl and relax lines. And to me she talks like she’s been out in very cold weather making it difficult to talk. You and I disagree.

She's not a natural blonde and the way she is about never having any of her natural roots showing makes her seem like a try-hard. And excessively vain.
