Do you ever see someone post a picture on social media and they appear to have “hit the wall” like they’re ugly now? I sort of love that moment it’s like this transition where someone goes from attractive to just meh or actually ugly.

I’ve seen it in real time with an ex. He was a drink and a coke head and only in his Kate 30s.

I always just think, thank god I'm not the one who has to struggle everyday to convince myself that 'I still find him sexy even now'.

Never having been attractive, haven't had that problem. Look okay for my age. Passing a law requiring everyone to post nude pictures of themselves online would cut out these "63 but look 28" descriptions in personal ad. Probably would increase the suicide rate exponentially.

I think there are different phases of hitting the wall. An ex of mine hit the wall at 38 over a summer when I didn’t see him for 4 months. He was a drinker and a smoker and lost his youthful look forever. Then 10 years later he still had a great, thick head of hair which mitigated his decrepitude when compared with his peers.
