The concept is perfect, he would be perfect, and I wholeheartedly hope this happens, yes. YES.

Richard supposedly lives in Big Bear. Maybe he and Tom Bierdz have hooked up.

Pauly had a well known obsession with porn actresses, including the late Savannah. Since everyone's a porn actress these days, maybe he lost interest.

Simmons has reportedly turned down the offer.

I think he turned down the offer to be involved, which doesn't mean much since they'll do the movie whether he's involved or not.

I would go right out and hire the writers from “Little Miss Sunshine” to do it.

There has to be a strong storyline that involves Richard’s youth- that explains exactly why he is what he is, and how it made him want to help and deeply affect other people. It shouldn’t make too much fun of him, with a little outside drama as well. The overall tone would have to balance halfway between being searingly poignant and comedy, or it won’t work.

The producers would need to put Pauly through a little more classic actor training, and pull two other well know character actors into a very taut, well written script..
