Walk into a nightclub in rural Ireland on a Saturday night and you'll find at least 4 or 5 guys who are what we might call 'hot for the area'. Usually on a football team, quite fit and with boyish good looks that would match or outdo Paul M. But, and I don't know what this phenomenon is you can tell they're Irish by a mile. I don't know what it is. I live in London and the odd time on the Tube or bus I will say to my partner I bet that guy is Irish and sure enough when we get close enough to hear them speak they have a brogue.

Ireland is a small place and the acting community there is even smaller. Everybody knows everyone else there. From what I hear, a lot of Irish actors are astounded by this guy’s success because he’s an average talent at best and has been doing the slow-witted, vacant thing for years - which is pretty much all he does.

He’s a triumph of meaty thighs over talent but I wouldn’t expect his run to last forever.

R14 he is doing really well for himself. He is only 27 and already has a Best Actor nom. He has fuckboy vibes and is seen by a lot of women as a heartthrob in the vain of the sexy guy they went to high school with who got any girl he wanted. But I have to agree that he is Smalltown jock sexy and not a beautiful man like Brad Pitt etc. The fact he smokes and most likely drinks a fair deal means that like most Smalltown stunners he will likely age quite badly.

The only time I ever criticize him is in those stupid our-dear-paul posts/comments because that person is so annoying. I don't think he's ugly at all, but I don't find him particularly attractive. He seems like a nice person, also.
