Yeah, he did a great job in that movie. It's not normal for a sports movie to revolve around such an unlikeable character. Nice change of pace because most have perfect families, though usually poor, overcoming all odds to reach stardom. Here we have a toxic head of the family, dragging his family along the backs of super talented children. Took me a long time to watch the movie. Didn't see it before the slap and didn't want to see it after the slap. But was on a plane and gave it a shot. Very good film. i don't ever need to see it again, but Will did great.

King Richard could have been the best movie in the world, but that one SELFISH act that Will Smith did, by slapping Chris Rock on stage at the Academy Awards, ruined the movie and all the actors and directors involved with it, for everyone.

No one even remembers the movie. The only thing anyone will remember about King Richard, is Will Smith assaulting someone on stage.
