As it so happens, I just saw Bey's second Houston show Sunday night. I hate Texas, but flew in knowing it's her hometown and she'd likely have special guests – which she did, namely Megan Thee Stallion (performing) and all FOUR original Destiny's Child members (including the original two whose names I always forget, and sadly not performing - also Lizzo). HOLY. FUCK. WAS. THAT. ASTOUNDING!!! Three hours of nearly nonstop performing – with breaks only for costume changes – and ZERO vocal flaws, despite it being nearly the end of her obviously exhausting tour. Even during the dance numbers she barely broke a sweat! (and never missed a note)

Great voice and some great songs, but she’s a charisma vacuum.

I was there, r12. The show was incredible, this tour is a truly staggering achievement. She has genuinely elevated her standing as a performer to 'legendary' with this show -- right alongside MJ, Madonna and Prince. She sang live for at least half of it, and since the show was 3 hrs that's 90 mins more live singing than any other notable performer of her generation could manage. I was awestruck.

It was filmed for posterity so the nelly naysayers will have plenty to hate on next year.
