Everything that is going on is connected. These disruptions are deliberate. The Tuberville holding up military command appointments, the Sedition Caucus in the House determined to shut down the government, this stuff is going to continue fueled by Trump's anger at being indicted, and by the dark money people who are behind the extremist websites. January 6th was the beginning.

People are getting exhausted with this bullshit, exhausted by Trump and all the turmoil. Biden and his administration understand and know how to run a government. No Drama Obama ran the government. I think people have enough to worry about in their own lives that they are sick of all this bullshit. Even Trump getting indicted was somewhat anti climactic. People were like, "Finally!" I think TV viewership is down too.. it is getting old. We know what we have to do. We're not out here screaming and yelling and disrupting shit. We will organize and get out the vote, and push back. I will say this: Groups like Indivisible, and MoveOn, and guys like David Pepper and Mark Elias are worth supporting. Elias and his team are fighting and winning in the courts, and getting voter suppression laws overturned. Pepper is doing grassroots organizing and voter education stuff that is really effective. So let the loudmouth showboats act out. We're coming for them. The reason they get to take over city councils and school boards is because we let them.

I'm an attorney in a red district. I've always wanted to run for local office, like city council or school board. Frankly, I still want to, and might do so if they start banning books or some such nonsense.

R10, your desire to stand up for education is noble, but sadly school boards are filled with cliques and drama. My mother was the one of the only dissenting voices on a conservative school board for years, I think it nearly drove her to madness.
