See, r22, I think he's gorgeous in the picture I posted. I can remember thinking he was hot as fuck when he first became worldwide famous. The voice is a boner killer, but I find his original face and hair hot. Okay, not the teeth. And so did a lot of other people.

The excessive styling and surgery has destroyed him. The stage where he wore diamond studs in each ear was pretty low, but now he looks different and it's not just getting older.

Beckham wants to be Sir David badly.

He was handsome when young but not “gorgeous” to me. Cary Elwes, Rupert Everett, Colin Firth and Jude Law were gorgeous British men. Douglas Booth, Henry Cavill and Kit Harrington are currently gorgeous.

Beckham is fair skinned and English and loves to tan. So that will age his face harshly though he is great shape due to diet and exercise. And I’m not an expert on plastic surgery but his isn’t that terrible because he’s recognizable and still looks fine enough. He’s prettier than his wife who was never beautiful but now looks like an anteater.

Never got the big deal about Jude Law. I have to go back to Stewart Granger for an English actor I find hot.

No, he wasn't gorgeous. He was cute in the same way that many men in the UK are cute. Go to any city centre on any given Friday or Saturday evening, and you will find thousands of men who are just as cute, or probably even better looking. His popularity came from the fact that he was a footballer who led a lavish lifestyle and had a very public relationship with a member of the world's most successful pop band at the time.

Then, worthless Victoria hired a superb team of publicists who aggressively promoted him as the epitome of virile beauty, because she wanted to keep their celebrity status after his sporting career was over, and the rest is history. That is all there is to him - she is ugly and talentless and he is an idiot, so she had to implement a system that would allow them to remain on top, and his overrated looks were the only card they could successfully play (it most definitely wasn't going to be her "singing" and "designing" abilities).

Sadly for their children, they have all inherited his profound stupidity, on top of her ugly mug and total lack of talent. In this family there aren't any runts of the litter: the entire offspring is an embarrassment.

No he wasn't op. His teeth were typical UK crooked. His skin was oily. His nose and face were giving rough trade, but he was never gorgeous. He was better looking than the other British football player, a damn good player, and blond. Never underestimate the power of PR and blond hair.

I was working some kind of awards/sporting event about 14 years - just a fake awards thing for a charity and Becks was like the guest of honour or something. He stood about 10 feet away from me and he was golden and absolutely gorgeous.

A four-part documentary seems a bit long for these two. Seems like 80 mins. would be long enough for even their most diehard fans.

When he played for LA, Posh had a brief reality show. I think it was like five episodes and was canceled for being boring.

Englishmen can be very handsome though, when it all comes together right. It's when it's off that it's a fright. Certain nationalities/ethnic backgrounds have very striking features--strikingly good or bad. Some nationalities/ethnic backgrounds --like the Irish -- are cute but rarely striking.

I thought the miniseries was very well done. He's had either cheek work/implants done and something to the eyes. Her work has been very good and has settled. I'm sure his will too.

I thought his hair looked a bit off and it seemed Toppik-ish to me. Not sure about the hair transplant theory. But in all fairness, they still look great.

I think he pretty much admitted to the affair without saying the actual words. It did seem like a fairly impossible situation for them as a couple, and I'm not sure his choice to go to Real Madrid was the best one. But, after Ferguson canned him out of spite for his courting of the press, making his own name a brand, and Victoria's presence overshadowing the club, I guess he did what he had to do. And, it made him more of a global superstar.

I mean, the Spice Girls were huge in the US in the late '90s, but I think Ginger Spice was the fan favorite, because the group became irrelevant after she departed just before the new millennium.

I don't remember hearing anything about David Beckham until the BEND IT LIKE BECHKAM movie came out in the early 2000s.

Then he and Victoria briefly relocated to LA shortly after that. There was a media blitz about how he was going to popularize soccer in the US, but then nothing happened and they moved back to the UK.

And that's all I know about the two. Also, that one of their sons recently married an American heiress.

His parents are typical ugly English people. I don't think I've seen two more ugly people have such a handsome offspring. It's really something.

I also don't think he would have been near as popular even as a soccer/football player without his looks. If he looked like Steve Buscemi there would be no Beckham brand.

Been struggling through the Netflix series, forwarding when it gets bogged down in the football side of things, which I find tedious (if you ever doubt humans are descended from apes, go watch the people at a football stadium).
