Age-wise that would’ve been 1980 Lake Placid, and the top three skaters in the U.S. at the time were Linda Fratianne, Lisa Marie Allen and Elaine Zayak. She’s not listed on any of the medal charts for Nationals in the late 70s or early 80s.

No one sat this child down and told her that she wasn’t that talented and that she needed a Plan B? Up until the day she died she believed that she could become famous again. That’s so fucking sad.
