My favorite place has a separate "Chinese" menu — for instance, their kung pao is totally different than the American menu kung pao. I get that, eggplant in hot garlic sauce, and shredded pork in hot garlic sauce.

In movies, when people eat Chinese takeout, why do the actors stab at their food with chopsticks? I don’t see real people doing that but for some reason actors love to do it.

Fried pork dumplings for sure. I INHALE those motherfuckers. Also scallion pancakes, and shredded sesame beef.

If I go to the dumpling place, a double order of spinach dumplings. They're almost no calories and I love them. I have one order that evening and another the next day, plus some chicken dumplings.
Otherwise, pork lo mein is one of my favorites. The restaurant I order from sends a huge portion, so I have the leftovers for breakfast.
