This guy is BAD NEWS. He’s not a visionary and doesn’t give a fuck who gets destroyed on his journey to destroy everything in his wake.

Elon needs to be brought back down to earth, and who better than the US government to remind him that he’s not untouchable?

Elon simply tried to prevent his image from being permanently damaged by allowing Ukraine to use Starlink to destroy the Russian fleet with NATO and US support, which would have been a devastating event that would have triggered a Third World War. Everyone knows that Elon is an egomaniac (99.9% of billionaires are), but he should be praised for no giving into Ukraine's and the neocons' demands, which would have had devastating effects on the ENTIRE world.
Also, why is he being probed when the US isn't at war with Russia? Since when is a private US citizen required to provide services to a foreign power's army just because CERTAIN members of a particular president's administration, want to use it as a battering ram against a fabricated enemy? Thus, how can he be accused of treason?
Glenn Greenwald provides a very good analysis for this situation, by the way. And he is right: this is a farcical attempt at getting revenge by not allowing the warmongering neocons to drag us all into extinction.
