Here are the daily schedules. There's a Wonderland party tomorrow night that he could pop up at (Rollercoasta and Wonderland are sister magazines and it's a launch party for Kit's issue, so he could also go as a friend) and a Valentino party on Monday (given he wore them to Vogue World). None of the shows really scream Joe to me.

I think Joe was genuinely annoyed that one time he said he was his own person, but I don't think they put as much weight on that as the fandom seems to think they do overall. If they did they'd keep their shit more low-key and wouldn't do stuff like comment to each other on a random fan's Instagram post. And the fandom has surprisingly gotten better about it after Joe left that comment.

With the obvious caveat that there are going to be the obvious homophobic dickheads and toxic trolls, joe is going to be such a hit with the marvel fanbase. He had a good set up already with Wiccan being a powerful, beloved, interesting character related to probably one of the best actors in marvel.
