POLL: Pick the Best White House China
Chasten B was famously teased for having specific tastes on the presidential dishware, but what say the rest of you tipsy gays?
Not every first family orders china (which is funded by donated funds, not tax dollars), but it's an important part of entertaining at dinners that can host hundreds of people. Other than room renovations and bombing some barefoot country, presidential dishware is one of the best ways a president and first lady can leave a mark on the presidency.
I prefer the Obama service, but I also like Nancy Reagan's boldness. Of course it's red, but it still holds up 30+ years later!

Why did you leave out Truman specifically?

Sorry I meant "Why did you leave out Wilson specifically?"

Most are fine, but the Johnson china service design is stunning. They have a late 1800s kind of warmth and are classic Americana.
I think the Truman service is lovely too.

I'm sure I would have chosen Jackie's but the order was never placed.

I love Johnson china. And the Reagan china is just so over the top 1980s-I can’t help but love it, the cocksucker (or rather, her cocksucking decorator) had good taste.
