Eugenie and Beatrice (and Edo!) At Vogue World

Eugenie in Fendi: ummmm...? Who tells this woman what to wear?

Beatrice in a black and yellow Richard Quinn print: really, hon? She looked better in the other print at the V&A event, though that was a day dress.

Edo looks good at Vogue World, but better at the V&A event.

Jesus, they're ugly.

by Anonymousreply 1September 15, 2023 12:47 PM

But not Edo, r1! He looks smoking in that navy jacket!

by Anonymousreply 2September 15, 2023 12:49 PM

There's something really off-putting about Eugenie. When she does smile, it seems quite plastered-on and fake, and the rest of the time she's just scowling anyway. I'd imagine that she's somewhat like her father. Beatrice seems nicer, if a bit dull.

by Anonymousreply 3September 15, 2023 12:56 PM

But r1, r3: their dresses? Your verdict? And I didn't know Fendi did plus-size.

by Anonymousreply 4September 15, 2023 1:02 PM

Is that Carol Burnett’s curtain dress?

by Anonymousreply 5September 15, 2023 1:04 PM

Eugenie looks good. Just arriving somewhere without a single wrinkle in that satin is a miracle, and the gown is flattering. Excellent makeup. Bea continues her post-marriage glow up.

Beatrice and Eugenie should stop trying to be fashion icons. It will never happen. They're definitely not pretty enough and they're not thin enough. Their dad was handsome when he was young but the two daughters are woefully lacking when it comes to looks.

by Anonymousreply 9September 15, 2023 1:22 PM

That headline is such a distraction: Princess Eugenie Steps Out for the First Time Since Giving Birth on the Red Carpet with Sister Princess Beatrice

She gave birth on the red carpet? With her sister? At least the afterbirth matched the red.

by Anonymousreply 10September 15, 2023 1:22 PM

Beatrice’s Edo should ditch the facial hair.

by Anonymousreply 11September 15, 2023 1:24 PM

The googly eyed one looks thinner. The one in satin looks bundled up and uncomfortable.

by Anonymousreply 12September 15, 2023 4:07 PM

Where's Euge's husband? First she went on vacation without him and now he's absent again. Trouble in paradise?

by Anonymousreply 13September 15, 2023 4:26 PM

Beatrice looks like she's taking Ozembic. Euge, looks like her dad. She's got a heavy brow ridge and heavy lower jaw. Their fashion sense is always entertaining. They like to take chances or they just have no taste. Euge, looks better than Beatrice. Beatrice looks sick. Edo is a good looking man. Where's Euge's billion dollar husband, I wonder?

by Anonymousreply 14September 15, 2023 9:04 PM

Oleebia.

by Anonymousreply 15September 15, 2023 9:16 PM

[quote]Beatrice looks like she's taking Ozembic.

Then she should share some with Hugenie.

by Anonymousreply 16September 15, 2023 9:41 PM

Heinous Yorkies.

by Anonymousreply 17September 15, 2023 9:54 PM

Bea has been looking really good lately. I like the mid-calf florals on her but now she is looking a bit too thin.

by Anonymousreply 18September 15, 2023 10:00 PM

I like Beatrice's dress. She looks beautiful. Eugenie has me a bit confused. I can't decide whether I like the dress or not--or maybe just not on her.

Edo looks good.

There were plenty of unattractive people on the Vogue London red carpet who looked good, bad and downright ugly. Beatrice looked good.

by Anonymousreply 19September 15, 2023 10:05 PM

Red carpet = no prints

by Anonymousreply 20September 15, 2023 11:43 PM

^^No mention of no prints in the research I have done. Here is one such reference that does not mention no prints...

R21, just because there may not be a red carpet rule against prints, doesn't mean one isn't needed.

Would have thought it implicitly understood.

by Anonymousreply 22September 16, 2023 1:03 AM

Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum and still don't know which one is which and don't really care.

by Anonymousreply 23September 16, 2023 1:08 AM

I can never tell which is which but they both always look terrible. Why can't they hire a decent stylist?

by Anonymousreply 24September 16, 2023 1:33 AM

Lipstick on a pig, R24.

by Anonymousreply 25September 16, 2023 3:46 AM

by Anonymousreply 30September 16, 2023 5:35 AM

Anna Wintour wore a print as did several others. But most people wore solid colors.

What's with all the short, sneaker and clunky shoes even on the women?

R40 must have thought she was going to an adult video awards show.

Sienna Miller's (R43) outfit is beyond ridiculous.

by Anonymousreply 47September 16, 2023 6:21 AM

Hopefully the photographers were yelling at R33 "Where's the rest of your outfit?".

R34 looks sharp in his gold suit, even though it's tacky to show off your chest hair.

You'd think the couple at R38 were mocking the event, even though the guy has nice legs for someone his age.

by Anonymousreply 48September 16, 2023 6:29 AM

R9 - Thanks for posting, Helen Keller. I must inform you that your sources are incorrect. Eugenie is stick thin.

by Anonymousreply 49September 16, 2023 8:54 AM

R24, just remember that the first syllable of Eugenie is pronounced the way Donald Trump says "huge". She's the bigger one, so that works.

by Anonymousreply 50September 16, 2023 10:00 AM

Crikey, the Yorks are unfortunate looking, awkward and off-putting.

When will they realize being a “royal” and very minor ones at that, is embarrassing? Add their looks, general uselessness, and financial wherewithal ‘legally’ stolen from taxpayers is just… 😳 🤦‍♂️

by Anonymousreply 51September 16, 2023 11:06 AM

Bea is really thin.

by Anonymousreply 52September 16, 2023 11:52 AM

The York girls are a total disaster. Rarely do they pull off style, mostly they look like a head on collision between the Las Vegas strip and a discount upholstery outlet. Year in and year out they show up looking like fools. They aren't trolling. They don't have any taste.

by Anonymousreply 55September 16, 2023 3:39 PM

I don't get how this event and all those absurd outfits is somehow meant to build the perception that Vogue is an authority on fashion. I mean once, sure, but this is all stunts and drive by shootings. What's Wintour thinking? I mean, I still think the Oscars where Edith Head told everybody to smarten the fuck up was a high water marker in stylish common sense, but I don't get it. Those people look like fools and head cases. That's who she invites to her big party?

by Anonymousreply 56September 16, 2023 3:42 PM

Eugie looks like an Easter egg in that sack of a dress.

by Anonymousreply 57September 16, 2023 4:40 PM

I think the guy next to Wintour looks good in the blue suit and the silver dragonfly pin. It adds just a touch of interest.

by Anonymousreply 58September 16, 2023 9:08 PM

Wintour really bugs me. She reminds me of an insect and it’s time for the sunglasses to go for good.

by Anonymousreply 59September 16, 2023 9:10 PM

[quote] I don't get how this event and all those absurd outfits is somehow meant to build the perception that Vogue is an authority on fashion.

This looks like a haute couture event.

by Anonymousreply 60September 16, 2023 9:31 PM

Whoever dresses Beatrice and Eugenie must really HATE them both with the heat of 10,000 supernovas.

They NEVER look good. The best either of them has ever been able to achieve is "not horrible" when dressed for an event.

I really want to know why. Get clothes that are properly fit, in a flattering style, and colors that match your skin and hair tones. WHY is that so difficult for these two. It's mindboggling to me that they always look so awful.

by Anonymousreply 61September 16, 2023 9:37 PM

Eugenie looks like a Blastin’ Blue Fruit Roll-Up.

Beatrice looks like she's auditioning to be a black floral shower curtain now on sale at Target.

by Anonymousreply 62September 16, 2023 9:54 PM

by Anonymousreply 66September 16, 2023 11:05 PM

by Anonymousreply 68September 17, 2023 12:22 AM

[quote]Beatrice's Edo looks unusually red at R54.

by Anonymousreply 70September 17, 2023 5:53 AM

I certain shots, Bea looks quite glam, though with her light skin & hair, she looks better in pastels or muted browns. The dress is beautiful, but it the wrong color for her. Eug doesn't necessarily look bad, but as others noted, she's morphing into a female version of Andrew and you just get the sense she's every bit as nasty & entitled. Bea looks really thin

by Anonymousreply 71September 17, 2023 9:25 AM

R71, Euge is huge and that dress accentuates her size instead of making her appear slimmer.

by Anonymousreply 72September 17, 2023 12:04 PM

R75 Richard Quinns model #2 looks like she is showing off the latest in the Auschwitz collection (Im Jewish, Im allowed)

Hideous

by Anonymousreply 77September 17, 2023 7:02 PM

R77 Maybe that's why Beatrice chose something from Quinn's collection. As some have suggested she's looking awfully thin. No. 2 model in Quinn's show isn't the only one.

by Anonymousreply 78September 17, 2023 7:29 PM

R76 Yeah. Eugenie's body doesn't provide the same silhouette as the the thinner model on the runway. Someone didn't tell her that?

by Anonymousreply 79September 17, 2023 7:33 PM

You'd think she'd have figured it out on her own, after the eclipse.

by Anonymousreply 80September 17, 2023 7:34 PM

It looks like they took some teal yardage and just threw it on her.

by Anonymousreply 81September 17, 2023 7:37 PM

R79, the colour of the dress suits the colour of the model's skin more than it did on Eugenie. There's something about the way the model looks and holds herself that makes the look intriguing. I guess Eugenie thought she could imitate that.

by Anonymousreply 82September 17, 2023 7:38 PM

If Eugenie was wearing a princess tiara and had a torch and a book, she could have come as the Statue of Liberty, who's about that same color.

by Anonymousreply 83September 17, 2023 7:50 PM

One thing about Beatrice compared to Quinn's model, is that the model is wearing the same black and floral print on her legs. Beatrice isn't doing this, so with her legs not being covered, that accentuates the midi-cut, which isn't the most flattering look for a lot of women, making this less than attractive frock even worse, imho. And covering the arms and hands like that with that cape in the back reads comic book superhero.

by Anonymousreply 84September 17, 2023 8:19 PM

R76. The runway look is attractive. Perhaps Eugenie should not have chosen a dress to wear meant for someone slimmer and taller.

by Anonymousreply 85September 17, 2023 8:20 PM

R85 Yeah, the look on the model is all about how the folds and cut of material accentuate the lines of the model's own body. That's not really in play with how it's draped on Eugenie, because she doesn't have the right body. And one big difference is how the dress on the model begins to taper from thigh to ankle. On Eugenie, the cut isn't doing that at all. It's like a straight line. I'd also say that neckline doesn't do her any favors. It works on the thin model, but it makes Eugenie look like a turtle popping her head out.

by Anonymousreply 86September 17, 2023 11:34 PM

Very true, R85. The original model has more of an hourglass figure.

by Anonymousreply 87September 18, 2023 12:03 AM

I honestly didn't know a fashion house like Fendi would provide such a dress in a jumbo size.

Did they do that when Karl was head designer?

by Anonymousreply 88September 18, 2023 12:05 AM

R82 It's a harsh color on any woman, especially on her.
