Conservatives you can’t help but like

I enjoy Ann Coulter. Sorry.

by Anonymousreply 91November 21, 2023 2:55 AM

Ann is a demon. A loathsome, horse faced demon.

by Anonymousreply 1September 14, 2023 7:39 PM

I like the ones that end up in grease fires.

by Anonymousreply 2September 14, 2023 7:40 PM

The hot daddies with lots of money and power.

by Anonymousreply 3September 14, 2023 7:50 PM

I don't like Ann Coulter, But I'd still sleep with her.

Add Nikki Haley to that list.

by Anonymousreply 4September 14, 2023 7:58 PM

I enjoy Ann Coulter’s suffering.

by Anonymousreply 5September 14, 2023 7:59 PM

That's hardly surprising, OP, given your other posts.

by Anonymousreply 6September 14, 2023 8:01 PM

Coulter always looks dishevled, like she's stopped by doing the walk of shame on her way home to do an interview and spew her hateful messages which she's secretly directing at herself for hooking up with another loser and not having the self-respect to say 'no' to all of his deviant requests.

by Anonymousreply 7September 14, 2023 8:02 PM

I want to tongue Eric Trump's log cutter.

by Anonymousreply 8September 14, 2023 8:20 PM

r8 truly has low standards.

by Anonymousreply 9September 14, 2023 8:33 PM

Rush Limbaugh isn’t so bad these days.

by Anonymousreply 10September 14, 2023 9:33 PM

I’m with you, OP. As are her many (high-profile) gay friends.

by Anonymousreply 11September 14, 2023 9:43 PM
by Anonymousreply 12September 14, 2023 9:44 PM

[quote]I’m with you, OP. As are her many (high-profile) gay friends.

Dog whistle for 'I'm a racist'.

by Anonymousreply 13September 14, 2023 9:44 PM

Yeah, yeah, I'm sure she's the ultimate fag hag for the Peter Thiel crowd. But really, I'd love to know who exactly are these high profile gay friends this troll imagines she has.

by Anonymousreply 14September 14, 2023 9:53 PM

I'm a huge fan of Westboro Baptist Church music parodies. Those are fucking hilarious!

I like Michael Steele and Steve Schmidt.

by Anonymousreply 16September 15, 2023 9:54 AM

George Conway. Chris Christie.

by Anonymousreply 17September 15, 2023 10:02 AM

Michael Steele.

by Anonymousreply 18September 15, 2023 11:19 AM

I like what R2 likes.

by Anonymousreply 19September 15, 2023 11:50 AM

My grandmother is the only conservative I will tolerate.

by Anonymousreply 20September 15, 2023 11:56 AM

The Boondocks loved Coulter.

by Anonymousreply 21September 15, 2023 12:24 PM

Ann's the fag hag we (usually) all love.

by Anonymousreply 22September 15, 2023 1:07 PM

And Ann hates Trump, so good on her.

by Anonymousreply 23September 15, 2023 2:03 PM

Another vote for Steve Schmidt and Michael Steele.

by Anonymousreply 24September 15, 2023 2:44 PM

Rick Wilson.

by Anonymousreply 25September 15, 2023 2:47 PM

don't like any of them

by Anonymousreply 26September 15, 2023 2:58 PM

^ Not even the ones who are Democrats (or at least Democratic voters) now? What a prescription for electoral defeat.

by Anonymousreply 27September 15, 2023 3:17 PM

Tim Miller

by Anonymousreply 28September 15, 2023 3:46 PM

Is Ann Cunter still writing books with titles like "Liberals Want to Kill You"? For a while it seemed like she'd write one per year. Of course, most people no longer read books but I'm sure the Heritage Foundation would still buy them in bulk and give them away to the rubes.

by Anonymousreply 29September 15, 2023 4:04 PM

The dead ones, OP. Those are the conservatives I like.

by Anonymousreply 30September 15, 2023 4:13 PM

OP = Bill Maher

by Anonymousreply 31September 15, 2023 4:44 PM

R15, I think the funniest thing was when the camera would pan to the kids, and they ALL had WTF looks on their faces.

by Anonymousreply 32September 15, 2023 4:44 PM

GOPLounge

by Anonymousreply 33September 15, 2023 4:46 PM

Barbara Bush

by Anonymousreply 34September 15, 2023 4:46 PM

OP, according to your posting history it's no surprise you like Ann Coulter. Most basic bitch log cabinettes do. You're nothing remotely special or interesting.

by Anonymousreply 35September 15, 2023 4:49 PM

R34. are you among the DLers who found Barbara Bush "classy" in an old-school kind of way? Just curious.

by Anonymousreply 36September 15, 2023 4:55 PM

Steve Schmidt is hung like a bull.

by Anonymousreply 37September 15, 2023 4:56 PM

Greg Gutfeld. Always had a crush on him.

by Anonymousreply 38September 15, 2023 5:01 PM

^ is he?? You know this how?

by Anonymousreply 39September 15, 2023 5:01 PM

Is he what? Cute? I kind of think so. Conservative? We'll he's right wing libertarian more than conservative, but on this board it might as well be the same.

by Anonymousreply 40September 15, 2023 5:04 PM

Some DLers have not read their daily newspapers lately. They've missed the story of the "Great Realignment." So many conservatives have realized that their old party no longer exists & have become partisan Democrats. But to these DLers, they're apparently unwelcome ... or wished dead. Go figure.

by Anonymousreply 41September 15, 2023 5:06 PM

Not sure if Chris Christie is a conservative, but I find him funny and smart. I’d never vote for him, of course, but he’s on of the few GOP these days that seems to have a sense of humor and isn’t completely insane.

by Anonymousreply 42September 15, 2023 5:22 PM

Schmitt, Wilson, Miller, Kinzinger, Steele - would have a drink with any of them, any time, if ever the opportunity ever presented itself. Would probably flirt heavily with Miller, swoon over the others, not gonna deny the seriously impure thoughts about Kinzinger just tamp them down..

Bari Weiss and Andrew Sullivan aren't real conservatives, but I don't mind them in the least. Andrew has evolved into a different chap than he was 20 years ago. That's been nice to watch.

by Anonymousreply 43September 15, 2023 6:17 PM

I don’t know about his political skeletons, but I remember thinking MD Governor Larry Hogue was fairly decent.

by Anonymousreply 44September 15, 2023 6:22 PM

Liz Cheney?

by Anonymousreply 45September 15, 2023 6:30 PM

Never understood the idea that having drinks with someone qualified them as a political leader.

by Anonymousreply 46September 15, 2023 6:30 PM

I loved Barbara Bush because was so shameless in her iciness, bitchiness and complete lack of empathy.

by Anonymousreply 47September 15, 2023 6:37 PM

Olympia Snowe

Judd Gregg

John Chaffee and Lincoln Chaffee

Scott Brown

Robert Gates

Justice David Souter

by Anonymousreply 48September 15, 2023 6:40 PM

Unpossible.

by Anonymousreply 49September 15, 2023 6:42 PM

No Condoleezza Rice yet? Wow

by Anonymousreply 50September 15, 2023 6:43 PM

R48's examples are Republicans but not particularly conservative, especially compared to the current Republican party, which would certainly consider them all RINOs.

by Anonymousreply 51September 15, 2023 6:48 PM

Not sure I would like him - never met the man - but I think I started to respect Mitt Romney as a true and decent conservative.

by Anonymousreply 52September 15, 2023 6:49 PM

[quote]Bari Weiss and Andrew Sullivan aren't real conservatives

Bwahaha!

[quote]I don't mind them in the least

Both of them are insufferable phonies, the very definition of sanctimonious hypocrites who advocate only for their own interests while claiming lofty principles.

by Anonymousreply 53September 15, 2023 6:52 PM

Nond of the conservatives liked here have any future in republican politics.

by Anonymousreply 54September 15, 2023 6:52 PM

This thread is hilarious fun for exploring the minds of DL's gay conservatives.

by Anonymousreply 55September 15, 2023 6:55 PM

R51 Well, I used to be a Republican. Particularly their milieu of politics/conservatism. Most of them have left the party and retired into seclusion. They all have such good manners they would never comment on the current political climate publicly out of respect for their old position. I admire that in a way and find it frustration in another way.

by Anonymousreply 56September 15, 2023 7:03 PM

Anyone who's EVER been a conservative is basically against everything that is good about America: freedom, tolerance, kindness.

No republican since Teddy Roosevelt has ever been an asset to our country.

by Anonymousreply 57September 15, 2023 7:07 PM

[quote] No Condoleezza Rice yet?

Shhh R50, you'll summon the "Condi Rice is beautiful" troll.

by Anonymousreply 58September 15, 2023 7:32 PM

R57, are you so certain that Democrats can win state & national elections without the votes of realigned former republicans? Or are you such a purist that no former Republicans need apply? Also, do you extend your animus to Jill Stein Democrats?

by Anonymousreply 59September 15, 2023 7:55 PM

Megan Kelly and Laura Ingraham .

by Anonymousreply 60September 15, 2023 8:04 PM

Rep 1: You left out hagmeat. She has not aged well.

by Anonymousreply 61September 15, 2023 8:10 PM

Mitt Romney. Conservative with integrity.

And good-looking!

by Anonymousreply 62September 15, 2023 8:16 PM

R40, sorry that ^ was for Steve NOT creepy Gutfeld.

by Anonymousreply 63September 15, 2023 8:19 PM

I admire arch conservative Rusty Bower for not going along with Trump & company political agenda. It cost him the latest election. In the unlikely event of our meeting, I think we would agree to disagree on issues, the adults did in times past. Also admire "maverick" McCain who would actually listen to the other person. I used to be conservative. Can't go along with has become now. I have drifted to the left far less than the conservatives, really reactionaries have swerved further right.

by Anonymousreply 64September 15, 2023 8:31 PM

[quote] Anyone who's EVER been a conservative is basically against everything that is good about America: freedom, tolerance, kindness.

That's a pretty broad statement. It's fine that you think that, but I would not find it true or helpful. Everybody (even you r57) is or will be a bit conservative in their lifetime. At some point everybody seems to measure progress by their biased experience from their childhood. Even the most progressive people end up mourning the good old times when liberal ideas were so much stronger than today.

by Anonymousreply 65September 15, 2023 8:49 PM

And even young people have at least a shred of conservative ideals. It's all fluent. And that shade of gray changes with life. I notice my husband becoming more conservative, while my 85 year old father turned liberal after retirement. People are odd in the way they develop sometimes.

by Anonymousreply 66September 15, 2023 8:50 PM

She’s a revolting woman. You’re nuts OP, and probably MAGA.

by Anonymousreply 67September 15, 2023 9:07 PM

Things are not always black & white. While I cede to no one my hatred of Trump & MAGAts, & am a stridently partisan Democratic voter, that doesn’t mean I don’t lean conservative from time to time.

by Anonymousreply 68September 15, 2023 9:43 PM

Lisa Murkowski

by Anonymousreply 69September 15, 2023 10:24 PM

Ann Coulter does seem like fun, I would have a drink with her while also making a note to never vote for the people she likes.

by Anonymousreply 70September 15, 2023 10:53 PM

[quote] They all have such good manners they would never comment on the current political climate publicly out of respect for their old position.

That or they are just abject cowards.

by Anonymousreply 71September 16, 2023 7:48 AM

[quote] That or they are just abject cowards.

What we're learning from Romney's book is that they don't merely fear electoral defeat but fear for the actual lives of their families & themselves. What a world.

by Anonymousreply 72September 16, 2023 1:07 PM

UK here. I loathe every single one of them.

by Anonymousreply 73September 16, 2023 1:28 PM

It should be obvious that what is a "conservative" pre & post-Trump are not always the same.

by Anonymousreply 74September 16, 2023 1:45 PM

The most awesome celebrity roast was Rob Lowe’s when Man Coulter got absolutely SKEWERED by everyone. The look on her face when she realized the joking wasn’t in jest but because everyone thinks she’s a cunt was PRICELESS! So satisfying to see that look of surprise hurt on her face. Couldn’t happen to a more worthless piece of shit.

by Anonymousreply 75September 16, 2023 1:59 PM

I'm pretty fun when I start drinking. You think I shake when I'm sober....

by Anonymousreply 76September 17, 2023 2:45 AM

I despise everyone of them, these days.

by Anonymousreply 77September 17, 2023 3:12 AM

The late Rush Limbaugh The late Pat Robertson The late George Wallace The late Phyllis Schlafly

by Anonymousreply 78September 17, 2023 4:45 AM

Something about Ben Shapiro making blue haired lesbos look like idiots makes me hard

by Anonymousreply 79September 17, 2023 5:27 AM

^ thanks for the laugh.

by Anonymousreply 80September 17, 2023 8:30 AM

At least that makes one of you, R79.

by Anonymousreply 81September 17, 2023 10:25 AM

Hot daddy Michael Steele.

by Anonymousreply 82September 17, 2023 11:22 AM

Ozempic Queen Santos. His lack of shame is astounding

by Anonymousreply 86November 21, 2023 12:47 AM

Sorry I just can't think of one.

by Anonymousreply 87November 21, 2023 12:50 AM

Are the Rockefellers still considered conservative? I knew Mark back in the day and he was a sweet guy. No idea what he's like now.

I would have a drink with Liz Cheney.

The late Colin Powell would also have been an interesting dinner guest, to say the least.

by Anonymousreply 88November 21, 2023 1:18 AM

[quote]The late Colin Powell would also have been an interesting dinner guest, to say the least.

You could ask him why he threw away his reputation and the "Powell Doctrine" on a pointless war that killed and displaced millions.

by Anonymousreply 89November 21, 2023 1:32 AM

I'd work up to that question, yes.

by Anonymousreply 90November 21, 2023 1:36 AM
