You can tell it's an important show since it's airing in the middle of the week.

The VMA producers said that the emphasis this year will be on ( surprise!) hip-hop. Isn't that the case every year? But, at least, that means outrageous fashions and abundant displays of fake tits.

Oh, well, how is this different from anything else in modern society?

It's not really impressive or much of a feat if people are forced (or feel compelled) to nominate women/nonbinaries.

It's beyond quotas now. It's almost an obligation. Or else.

What actually happens at the VMAs these days? Do they actually give out awards? But who's watching videos anymore? Where would you even watch them? It seems like the whole thing has just turned into an excuse to promote "celebrities" competing for attention.

I just checked to see what else was on TV tonight, and this shit is on like 10 channels!

I literally never watched after that Kanye West/Taylor Swift thing, that was years ago. Stopped watching and never looked back. The fact Kanye was never banned, Beyonce seemed to love what he did etc., killed MTV for me.

However, I half-hope Billy Porter will be there and if so, I expect you bitches to post pics. I want to see what desperate costume she shows-up in this time.

The last VMA i watched was when Britney Spears tried to kill herself on stage after Sarah Silverman made fun of her drooped vagina.

The last one I watched was when Sasha Baron Cohen tried to force Eminem to give him a rim job.
