Interviewee aside I know this area well and travel through it all the time and this is the first I've heard of the story. There's a popular dog park on the other side of Piedmont and of course people walk their dogs there all the time from the numerous apartment complexes around there. The victim was only 22, poor kid. I see so many French bulldogs everywhere. Those creatures must be terribly inbred now.

One of the ridiculous things about all these apartment complexes in Atlanta with the big electric gates and is that most times you drive by and the gates are wide open all the time. What's the use in having them if you're not going to keep them closed and locked to anyone except the residents?
