He sure has tumbled down the hill since those days he thought he was a god from all the attention he was getting. I remember how haughty and arrogant he'd seem in some interviews and in statements he made. But now it seems like he's found a sense of humor, which is hard not to have when you go from Hollywood's golden boy to playing supporting bits on cable fantasy shows, AND forced to do nude scenes to boot. Ouch.

Whoever said this is TWEE is exactly right. I got through two episodes and lost most of the context somewhere around the absurd get-up and giant fake beard they had David Tennant in. And this bizarre British TV thing where they wedge a black actor into the most awkward scenes. The Biblical character Joab is being tested by God and, of course, he's got a vary tastefully hijab'ed, very modern-seeming black wife. This is completely stupid. I know we're supposed to be brainwashed into thinking we don't notice it, yet we don't see the reverse happening in any production about/with primarily black actors.

And the diversity casting stupidity doesn't stop there; there's a wheelchair-bound paraplegic arch angel, rolling around in her wheelchair with the little control stick and everything.......in Heaven! If they're going to have this type of actor in the production, maybe come up with something more creative where you don't hide her condition, but perhaps depict her getting around in a more, eh, "Heavenly" method of transportation?

I look forward to God being revealed as a trans woman (you know it's coming), and for us to be taught a "valuable lesson" by the end of the show. Which I won't be around for, but maybe you bitches will update me.

R43 the design and mis-en-scene are not realistic. The wheel chair fits in. Didn't mind the black wife either because it's just a delightful and campy fantasy series.

He looks nice enough for most men his age, but he is a multimillionaire actor who can afford the best fitness trainers and dieticians, not to mention that he has all the time in the world to keep himself in shape. He has no excuse for looking so disarmingly ordinary.

And I agree with R37 - it's sort of flat and wide, as if his buttocks were too small for his hips. Still, it's undeniable that he is handsome, charismatic and very masculine.

Series 1 was twee but a fun, Monty Python twee. Series 2 is just twee-twee.

I watched "Keeping up with the Joneses" this past weekend with him, Galifianakis and that chick from "Now you see me". Movie wasn't that great, but he was still hot and enjoyable. That was in 2016.

The following year was a low point for him playing a villain in Baby Driver. They tried to punk him up and it just made him look old. That was a bad outing for spacey as well who was quite overweight at the time.

The season was good, but it was not as good as season one. It meandered about in the middle, and could have used another pass through the writers' room, and another pass through the editor to tighten it all up a bit I think.
