He confirmed about a month ago that he's retiring. It makes sense. He is not some super start player and received the veteran's minimum ($1M or so) last season. Best case scenario, he'd have another year on a roster for about the same. Not worth it especially considering the injuries that can come with. He just turned 30 and can now do something else with his life.
