No doubt she will add her feminist themes to this beloved classic.

Oh, please.

It's already filled with plenty of femiist themes. Frankly, if she can pull out the religious themes, I'm all for it.

She's getting big. How long before Baumbach turns her in for a younger model?

Women ruin everything! They are SO stupid! Why do we even have them??

I wish Disney had done The Magician's Nephew, because then they could've brought back Tilda Swinton as Jada, the White Witch.

Why do you have a problem with feminism? Are you a Trump voter?

Mmmmmmm ….

I love these books first of all.

I just don’t know how well they translate into film. She might do great, but so much of these books are Bible allegories, which isn’t inherently a bad thing, but I just don’t know how you convey that without a lot of voiceover, which sucks in most movies.

The books aren’t really known for feminist themes either. They have a lot of strong female characters (often more virtuous than the men), but I don’t remember them being a man vs woman kind of thing. More the virtuous vs the tempted.

I think people read too much into Susan’s “fate”. I think it was more of an abandonment of faith than anything about being a woman. Lucy, after all, was saved.

Guess we will see.

Jadis, not Jada. I'm embarrassed.

Feminist?? Horrors!

Are you implying she's a... a... a [italic]Libber!?!?[/italic}

Agreed, R2. Is she pregnant or something?

She is as big as a house at the event for BARBIE. And that outfit does her no favors. (Don't blame the trademark Barbie pink, either.)
