Getting fit and strong is basically a great idea for your health and your looks. But I never understood the power building side of it. With all the steroids and sketchy supplements , there is nothing healthy about that.

This was shot a day ago, and I think he looks really good here, without the harsh overhead lighting and the orange skin. But what I always found appealing about him is he has a warm smile and a very gentle, quiet manner. He's 53 now, and doesn't look like what he looked like in his 20s, but ... I still would.

Competitors in the newer "fitness" category at bodybuilding shows wear board shorts in those competitions. They still pose, but they don't have to have the mass of true bodybuilders. It's more aesthetically-based for judging.

I remember seeing him on a Chelsea, NY street about a dozen years ago and being disappointed he wasn't taller (I'd guess he was about 5'10") And his skin was a papery grey color with black circles under his eyes.
