Lauren Harries: Sad last days of British trans celebrity
Lauren started off life as antiques expert James Harries, appearing on Oprah and other tv shows.
His parents were batshit grifters who tried to pull off an elaborate con by burning down their fancy dress business over Christmas. The mother took the kids out to dinner and claimed their food had glass in it, ensuring an alibi, while the father torched the shop. He went to prison.
James became Lauren when he was 23 and the media grift ramped up. Media appearances to fundraise for surgery, claims about Russell Brand and doing any media work that was offered and desperate attempts to appear on Celebrity Big Brother despite failing the psychological tests. Lauren eventually appeared in series 13 and was let out for counselling sessions.
There was a dreadful attempt at a pop career which was enabled by people mocking Lauren, and the last media appearance was on Naked Attraction where Lauren went full tit and minge. Lauren has been selling drawings and sketches online.
But now Lauren is severely ill in hospital and might not make it to 46.

I watched that CBB and she looked like she was dying even back then. Can't believe she's 45 NOW, I thought she was in her seventies when that CBB was on, in 2013!

Lauren lives in the UK so the NHS provides healthcare regardless of status.
It's very unsettling that the grifting mother is taking photos and videos of Lauren and posting them on social media when Lauren is barely conscious and able to consent.

Poor Lauren is well enough to post videos from her hospital bed complaining about the care she's receiving.
Someone referred to her as "disabled" this week which has infuriated her, although people have pointed out Lauren is unable to walk at the moment.

r6 Poor nurses, I bet she's a right nightmare. And what's her current situation, anyway? She improving or is she slowly drifting towards the light?

There's a recent Instagram video where she is slurring her words and can't remember who is coming to dye her hair blonde. Some of the photos where she's got wigs on look very unfortunate.

Yeah, that tends to start happening to people who rot away in the hospital over longer periods. I was inside for three weeks last year for my cancer surgery and I started losing all sense of time by the end.

She's alive! You can help her recovery by purchasing her artwork online.

Lauren has released a rambling Instagram video where she says she's going to sue the hospital because they want to discharge her but she isn't going anywhere until she can walk in heels and the hospital is rubbish because it's run by women. She finishes with a song.
I'm not saying the video was poorly received but these are some of the comments:
[quote]No Lauren your lucky to be alive be grateful you have life, head shaved š³ what about cancer patients children get a grip, you are better off at home rehabilitating and out patient care load of nonsense some people don't get to go home
[quote]You owe the nhs your life! The invasive, complicated surgeries you had will have cost the tax payer thousands. Your now well enough to be discharged but youre not leaving unless you can wear high heels? Your actually embarrassing yourself, eventually you will be forcefully removed from that bed and thereās nothing you can do about it. Go home, get physio, get MH treatment, if Botox will help then get Botox privately it doesnāt cost that much. The hospital have did their job - saved your life. No itās time for YOU to take ownership of your help and actually do some hard recovery not lie in a bed doing IG lives slagging off the team that saved your life at OUR (taxpayer) expense. Grow up!
[quote]If you sue the NHS, where do you think the money from Lauren. Us daft mugs pay enough national insurance as it is. The NHS is on the bloody brink as it is.
[quote]When people are hating on what Lauren is saying, you have to remember she has had surgery on her head.
[quote]Iām usually a fan but this is absolutely disgusting, get a grip Lauren! š”

Another grifting family, vlainingvthis person was in a coma after brain surgery after La sudden illness.ā They go into detail about seizures, about physical therapy and how difficult it is to walk, but they wonāt say what the āsudden illnessā was that was treated with brain surgery.
Why not? Theyāre sure giving out lots of personal health information. Why not the name of the disease?
