Reminds me a lot of Marc Christian, but I have no idea who he is. One of the comments under the video said he was on The Edge of Night, but I'm too lazy to imdb him.

If I remember there are two versions of that video. Both filmed by someone clearly under the influence of MOUNTAINS of coke at the time.

R2 yes, he was on Edge of Night for a few years. He went from porn to acting with a side trip into music. Back in the 70s when that could happen, I guess, and be kept quiet from the masses.

I find it fascinating he did porn (gay porn at that) and still managed to act on TV with little backlash. I guess nobody cared because he wasn't a big Hollywood actor.

He mostly did straight porn, despite being gay. Only a few gay porn movies and loops. Everyone knew involved with the show. Most of the viewers probably didn't know, so there wasn't any backlash. His character was pretty well received by viewers too, which also helped.

I think its safe to say he was bi-sexual. His sex with women looked very natural and he seemed to get into it. An interview

It doesn't break my heart. It's called acting and good editing. He was good enough to get acting work outside of porn. Several of his female co-stars has said they had the hots for him, and he had no interest in them.

He's not the only gay guy that did straight porn back then. So did Zebedy Colt and Marc Stevens. They didn't have an unending amount of people trying to get into porn back then like today, so anyone was willing to that was reliable and passably attractive was hired. If they could act some, it was a plus.

It was a sad ending. He had a lot of good qualities. If not for getting AIDS, he probably would have had a long life. Maybe even still alive today. Besides maybe being a sex addict, he didn't really have that much of a self-destructive side. Plus, if his acting career ended after Edge of Night, he had a trade to fall back on. His relationship will Joey Alan Phipps seemed to be a very solid one too, they could've been together for a long time.

I remember he appeared on an episode of The Merv Griffin Show in the late 70's. The episode was a tribute of sorts to the producers Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo, who at the time were on top of the music world thanks to the phenomenal success of the Village People.

The other performers who appeared were French heartthrob Patrick Juvet and the Ritchie Family. I don't think the Village People were part of it (although I do recall them appearing on Merv at least a couple of times). The show was meant to promote some of the lesser known acts in the Morali/Belolo stable.

I remember they played that weird "Like an Eagle" video before Dennis Parker came out for his interview, and I thought "wow, that song is a true piece of shit!". And I remember Merv practically salivating over him as he interviewed him. You could always tell when Merv's hole was twitching over some hot young stud, and it definitely was for this guy.
