Think some of you don't remember how the promo was for Season 1. Bash wasn't included in anything. It was always the main six. And that was when he was dating the main lead. So chances of any of these awkward interaction scenarios taking place is zero to none.

Bash hyped the show a lot S1, because he was hyping his boyfriend. He isn't going to be written out of the show just because he broke up with Joe. His part might be small, but he's still a character in this world. And like R14 said, Bash wouldn't have been included in official promo stuff anyway. We'll probably see him less engaged with the fandom than he was a year ago, and he won't attend red carpet events as Joe's +1 anymore. He'll probably start spending more time with his non-HS friends like Nell, Ty, Amybeth, etc when his play ends. But he'll still pop up at official cast events and be on set the days he's filming. I'm sure both Joe and Bash are professional enough to handle this. Considering how un-messy this break-up has been, I expect they ended things with hurt feelings but not intense anger.

The special screening and cast and crew screening were basically the only two things Bash was around for, I think. But yeah, Joe sat with Kit for both of them.

Even though I think 90% of us agreed from that get-go that they met up there, the distinction didn't matter because we all immediately clocked that this wasn't a serious thing regardless. The Twitter fraus are a little too influenced by the show and think everything leads to marriage.

There are a lot of twitter fans who seem to have non-existent social skills. This is true across the board, in every subgroup of the fandom. There are also normal logical people in every subgroup. Different people have different favorites. Some people lose their minds whenever someone disagrees with them - that happens on DL too. But I think most Joe fans also like Kit, most Kit fans also like Joe, and most Bash fans like both Joe and Kit. The problems tend to be with Joe or Bash fans not liking Kit fans and Kit fans hating Bash fans more than any actually issues with the cast.
