Ted McGinley - that sexy 'series-killer' turns 65 today

Theodore Martin 'Ted' McGinley, the sexy star of the 70s and 80s who would join a series right before it died just to make sure he could kill it off for good, turns 65 years old today. For me, he will forever be in his 30s with the blond hair and hairy chest.

He had a hot ass, but couldn’t live forever….. too soon?

I'd still do him and fantasize about what he used to look like.

Funny - people think of him as a blond but he's actually more of a brunette.

He has a nice small role on Mad Men.

I always wanted to watch him shave shirtless back in the day but I don't think that ever made it to the screen

by Anonymousreply 6May 30, 2023 5:43 PM

R5, was it on the last season of Mad Men?

by Anonymousreply 7May 30, 2023 5:46 PM

R4 In the 70s and 80s he used to highlight the front of his hair blond or dye his whole head blond - sort of the George Michael / "Wham!" look. He made it grow out darker / natural color as he got older and wasn't playing the 'surfer boy' type any longer.

His wife played a hooker on the criminally underrated "John Larroquette Show."

by Anonymousreply 9May 30, 2023 7:16 PM

He looks like Tom Welling in r3’s pic.

by Anonymousreply 10May 30, 2023 7:48 PM

Yeah, he often bleached his hair, which clashed with his dark chest and pit hair (in a hot way).

I am not sure he really deserves the reputation as a series killer. He has worked steadily and eagerly and did not hesitate to jump into existing and maybe slightly worn series as a new character. He had a good run on Married With Children and was a vast improvement over Marcy’s first husband.

He was gorgeous for along time. Decades. I see he has finally hit the wall.

by Anonymousreply 13October 1, 2023 1:00 AM

He's totally unrecognizable now!

by Anonymousreply 14October 1, 2023 1:31 AM

I think in r11's post he must have borrowed that outfit from Richard Simmons.

by Anonymousreply 15October 1, 2023 2:23 AM

You wanna real series killer? Eric Balfour!!

by Anonymousreply 16October 1, 2023 2:28 AM

He was hot as fuck in Revenge of the Nerds. I remember thinking that they should have made a movie starring him instead of the needs.

by Anonymousreply 17October 1, 2023 4:18 AM

I've read that during the making of Nerds, Ted was the reserved one and Robert Carradine was the party guy, unlike their characters in the movie.

by Anonymousreply 18October 1, 2023 4:20 AM

Whose needs, R17?

by Anonymousreply 19October 1, 2023 4:34 AM

R13 = Trevor Donovan

by Anonymousreply 20October 1, 2023 4:35 AM

He had a nice small hole on Mad Men.

by Anonymousreply 21October 1, 2023 4:39 AM

Baaaaaht.

by Anonymousreply 22October 1, 2023 4:42 AM

He's a stud at any age. But he was this gaylings dreamboat back in the late 70's and 80s.

by Anonymousreply 23October 1, 2023 5:16 AM

I remember on Happy Days and wondering why the women swooned for Fonzie. Was it his hair? His leather jacket? His jukebox ninja moves? I didn't get it. And then they add Ted McGinley to the cast and I'm rubbing one out at 8:30pm on a Tuesday evening.

Several thoughts on that on this thread.
