What are your fave drugstore products that actually work - for beauty, cleaning, etc?

And not condoms, you dirty whores.

I complained about high SPF sunblock irritating my skin. My cousin recommended moisturizers containing sunscreen. She uses makeup, but I'm not going there. For every day sunscreen, I use Oil of Olay Complete Lotion, which has an SPF of 15. If I'm just getting in and out of the car while running errands, that's enough.

Trader Joe's Citrus-Cucumber Facial Wipes are wonderful.

A big bottle of cheap hydrogen peroxide rather than a Bactine-like disinfectant.

And, of course, Mint Julep Masque by our adored Queen Helene.

I buy isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide on sale for stain removal. Rubbing alcohol is good for ball point ink stains.

Neutrogena body clear body scrub- and not the grapefruit crap, original orange.

Witch Hazel on face and neck. Cleans, sterilizes, soothes.

Vaseline as a moisturizer, even on my face. My hands and feet look great as well.

Aveeno body wash. You can use it as a shampoo, as well.

Easy Off fume-free oven cleaner for the floor of my fiberglass shower stall.

Dawn dishwashing soap, of course.
