Prompt was Colby Keller
by Anonymous | reply 41 | June 10, 2023 9:46 PM |
That's a very generous rendition of Colby Keller.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 27, 2023 5:16 PM |
It appears to interpret Andrew Garfield as some kind of human/giraffe hybrid
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 27, 2023 10:08 PM |
I like it.
Does Midjourney allow you to retain the image from one prompt and insert it into different backgrounds and siutations or do you have to include it in an all encompassing prompt.
Could you use "Colby Keller" in one prompt, then use a prompt that inserts one of the renditions into another situation, like "put X into a sling."

Yes you can use an existing image as the basis for a new image
It will not allow you to create anything sexual, it has its own AI police to enforce that

You're darned tootin', Buster.

I’m shocked it managed to do Logan Marshall-Green.

I would love to create my own comics with a tool like this.

Without it being able to create the many sex scenes that would be essential for the stories I want to tell, it wouldn’t work for me.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 28, 2023 1:31 AM |
Couldn’t you take the generated scenes as a model and then trace with nudity? Spliced in?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 28, 2023 3:26 AM |
[quote] It will not allow you to create anything sexual
so what's it useful for?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 28, 2023 3:32 AM |
Call me when we have an animated AI version of this scene.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 28, 2023 5:35 AM |
Love that Colby.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 29, 2023 3:09 AM |
What is your exact prompt? Which model are you using, etc.?
I haven't created too many stylized pics yet, so I'm interested in improving my prompts.

“(Celebrity), character design for animation or video games—v 5”
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 29, 2023 12:13 PM |
But is this really art,
or an appropriated, machine mirrored rendering of an existing human artist’s flair, hone, and particular design quirks?
Because that’s what it looks like. And it gets tiring after awhile.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 29, 2023 12:36 PM |
“But is this really art”
Was anyone saying it was?
One can be impressed by a skilled machine without defending its nonhuman instincts.

Do DL fave Ben Barnes.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 29, 2023 1:28 PM |
Ben Barnes was a struggle. Closest I got after dozens of cycles.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 29, 2023 2:14 PM |
Ben looks so worried. Thanks for trying!
Which leads me into my next question -- I'd love to try this toy, but I wonder how well it does with older or more obscure celebrities. Does it crawl Google images for data, or is it based on what other users are doing? So, if more people start searching for Ben Barnes, would it get smarter about how to render him?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 29, 2023 2:23 PM |
It… depends.
For this particular prompt, it works best when the celeb has a very distinctive look, a distinctive name, and a lot of photos on the internet
It won’t get smarter on how to render him until the next version (version 6) is released
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 29, 2023 2:47 PM |
You can also try playing around with the prompt
This one is “drawn by Disney” and it’s much better

The app looooves Armie Hammer. He looks good in every generation.
Oh, Armie. Why did you have to eat all those people.

Hey OP -- I bit the bullet and paid for a month. Please tell me how to select one of my creations as the basis for a new picture. Say if I like version 3 of something, I don't want to use the "make variations" tool as that usually fucks up the image, but I want to take version 3 exactly as-is and just change the background, or hair color, or something.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 9, 2023 2:48 PM |
Hey OP - is it possible to do one that merges two people?
Does it come out like those freaky baby ones where you put pix of two people as parents or does it come out nice.
Like what would happen if you combined Armie Hammer and Alex Pettyfer in a single prompt? Or Henry Cavill and Travis van Winkle.

R28 you need to save the image you created to your device. Then you need to open up your own discord channel. On that channel, you need to upload the image from your device that you saved. Then you need to copy the image address (hold down image and select copy media link). Then you need to go back to your Midjourney chat (or you can try adding the Midjourney bot to your own chat). Then you need to do
/imagine:prompt (URL of saved image) an image of a this person on a yacht in Cannes—v 5
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 9, 2023 3:02 PM |
Thanks R30.

Midjourney can't draw Ewan McGregor to save its artificial life. It makes him look like Chris Pratt or Marky Mark.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 9, 2023 3:08 PM |
Pettyhammer and Cavillwinkle are hot. If you have time, would love to see more combos.
OP have you tried Stable Diffusion or Dall-E 2?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 9, 2023 4:00 PM |
OP - Can you do Charlize Theron and Zhou Xun?
I'd love to see a mixed race combo to see how it's handled.
Alternatively, if you want to do men, Danile Henney and Hammer.
Hammer is batshit, but he does have good bone structure.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 9, 2023 4:04 PM |
Wow. Theron-Zhou is gorgeous - that face is stunning.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 9, 2023 4:50 PM |
OP what prompts are you using.
Mine are coming out like horror shows.
What was the prompt for CavillWinkle?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | June 10, 2023 9:27 PM |
Character design for animation and video games, drawing. Portrait that combines Henry Cavill and Travis Van Winkle.--v 5
