It's white chocolate raspberry. I love chocolate and raspberry together but the white chocolate tastes a little off, like it's Easter and I'm drunk.

Take a brisk walk. You will feel better afterward and the ice cream may even taste better if you give it a second chance now that you know what to expect.

SIL says make a homemade ice cream cake and use it as a layer between real chocolate. I may try this.

I was surprised to find I didn't like Haagen-Dazs' White Chocolate and Raspberry ice cream. I love each separately, and have made cakes that combine the two nicely, but H-D just didn't do it for me with this flavor.

If the artificial raspberry was throwing you off, I'd try swirling actually good raspberry jam into the carton. Get it a little melty, stir in big globs of it, and re-freeze. Hopefully it counter-acts the fake flavor.

Write a short email to their customer service saying you were excited to try this flavor but was disappointed with it and had to throw it away. I did this once for a new Oreo flavor that I found gross, and Nestle sent me four coupons for free boxes of cookies or crackers (any ones I wanted).

You never know, they might send you a coupon for a free gallon of ice cream. Can’t hurt to try!

1.5 quarts is the new “half gallon”. They shrank the sizes of supermarket ice cream to increase the prices without saying they’re increasing the prices. A “pint” is not a pint either. It’s 14 ounces.

I can't get behind white chocolate ice cream either. It's like a blander version of vanilla.

OP, you should have known from the get go it would suck. The only brands of ice cream at the supermarket sold in containers larger than a pint are the low-quality brands filled with additives and such (except for the very few larger containers of Häagen-Dazs).

I would never buy anything with white chocolate because there is No chocolate in it and it is mostly sugar.

I bought some Tillamook and hated it. My store brand has a better taste.
