Canned tuna is great - cheap and delicious with beans in salads. Just do a search for some recipes.

Since this is your first time to try tuna I am assuming you are five years old

OP, my advice is to start out slow. A small can of solid white albacore in water, mixed with 1 1/2 tablespoons of mayo. That's it, no spices or mix-ins. Hellmann's or Best Foods mayo, save the Duke's for when you're more acclimated to the experience. For god's sake don't reach for the Miracle Whip, you're a goner for sure if you jump right into that madness your first time.
