I never liked Pink Floyd. DSOTM came pouring out of every dorm room one of my years in college (all male floor), so I never needed to buy a copy. Someone gave me 50 LPs in the 2000s, and it was one of them. And also The Wall. Didn't like either one, even in my home environment.

R19 I am in agreement. It's rock music for people who don't really pay attention. DSOTM is a fake jazz album, you may as well pull out Miles Davis or Coltrane. And no freaky synthesizers to overpower your party.
