Sad last days: Mykonos

Just like the fucking Romans.

Holy crap, those photos are disgusting, Mykonos looks like fucking Santorini now. And the shot of all those tourists in the old town looks worse than in Amsterdam.

Yeah, well, you can't be the star island and not have problems like this eventually. Just look at how much of Croatia's coast has also been mangled with hotels , and Spain's and Italy's before then. Tourist money don't stink and trade-offs are inevitable.

I do wonder what new favourite destination in Greece the rich will come up with next. It won't be Mykonos for much longer, looking like that.
