"There are a lot of nuances from their story that they feel are still missing after the documentary and Harry's book," a source tells Closer magazine.
The source says the couple were "obviously happy" with their paycheque from Netflix for the documentary and are "keen" to work with the streaming giant again.

They are grasping at that, thinking that if people could just see the nuances, then people will rally to their side.

I wonder if their strategy is to release BRF-related content for the next few years until their kids are old enough to start making family content (not lowly YouTube videos lol, but like documentaries or something). Because I get the feeling they will need to stay in the public eye to stay afloat. There’s probably no other option.

Doesn't he have money that could be invested so his family can live on that income? Then they could devote their time to representing some charity that's important to them, even though that kind of work doesn't pay big salaries. That would be a dignified way of life, serving an honorable purpose to benefit some worthy cause. Instead of what they're doing now, hustling for the sake of publicity like a couple of money-grubbing hucksters.

Their royal trauma dumps could be ported to any number of exciting new technologies. They could do a ChatGPT collab “What if I was the heir?”, or do a televised therapy session in a self-driving car. Perhaps a Discord special where they watch their own Netflix series for some reason. Endless possibilities.

Doubtful. I know that's the line from the usual Sussex hater types, because they need to believe that "everybody hates them" and "they're going broke" and such, but there's little chance that Harry has run through all his mother's money AND the podcast money AND the book money. In a few years, maybe, but not at this point.

They do the Invictus Games and there are a few charity appearances that never get attention, mainly because the tabloids can't exploit it. An awards ceremony where Harry is a surprise guest can be exploited, Meghan showing up in regular clothes to help women open their own small businesses can't.
Someone said on another thread that they needed good PR to tell them to stop complaining so much and release more positive, fun messages, and I'm guessing they finally got that.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 24, 2023 1:52 AM |

What we have here is another story by a British tabloid to get all the Harry and Meghan haters riled up. Then it will be proven to be a lie, like many of the other tabloid stories, and it will just stay out there and never addressed, because that is how the tabloids work. Before you get all pissed, wait for an official release by Netflix and not a story trafficking in the Harry and Meghan hate industry.

Shit, I just saw one of these Sussex hater trolls say Harry hadn't even finished writing Spare yet! What kind of cheap-ass trollbot outfit has been hired for this kind of stuff, and why?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 24, 2023 12:29 PM |
So far, this is just a rumour. But if it isn't, it shows that Harry and Meghan have realised that for them, there is no "moving on" (as they promised after Oprah, Netflix, Spare . . .) because they have nothing else to sell that anyone will buy.
As poster above pointed out, they never for one moment as a married couple lived in any palace. They lived in the grounds of Kensington Palace in Nottingham Cottage, and then in Frogmore Cottage.
If they use any footage that isn't in the public domain, the Palace can sue for invasion of privacy.
And, given that Harry now faces a 400,000 quid bill for the court case he just lost re demanding judicial review of the Home Office's refusal to let him hire public serving police officers at will, and will likely lose the one he recently filed asking for judicial review of the reasoning the Home Office used in stripping him of his armed police protection in the first place, in their shoes I would think twice about trying on private footage taken inside any royal dwellings without permission.
They're clinging frantically to the royal adjacency that they themselves debased when they left.
There are other rumours circulating that the King is considering turning Harry's ducal title into a life peerage only, thereby ensuring that Harry can't pass on to his descendants any emblem of their once-royal adjacency beyond the farcical titles of his two American kids, who live in an environment in which those titles mean nothing. If the King does so, it means that all Harry's and Meghan's royal posturing ends with Archie and Lili.
Imagine a full-length (90 minutes?) programme of the Sussexes nattering on about royal life.
The mind boggles.

"I wonder if their strategy is to release BRF-related content for the next few years until their kids are old enough to start making family content..."
It's my theory that Harry has put his foot down about publicizing the kids, as he didn't like growing up in a fishbowl, so that revenue stream may be closed off... as long as they're married.
Seriously, their financial future looks increasingly iffy, they've got nothing to sell except the royal connection, and their lifestyle is VERY expensive. So if they want to keep the money rolling in, they need to get involved in some non-royal drama to keep the public interested. Either move to Botswana and become save-the-elephants warriors, try to go back to royal life for more material, or work up a massive long-running feud with their neighbor Ellen. The last should be easy and convenient.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 25, 2023 3:36 PM |
It was never on the cards anyway but when the queen said no to the half working royals half Hollywood celebrities lifestyle she really foresaw the future. It'd have led to the Harry and Meghan being double paid by both Netflix and the state to do things like open shopping centres it'd have been ridiculous.

I would like to know how big an entourage they employ. With Netflix crew, security detail, cooks, maids, chauffeurs, I bet it's more than a regular royal has at his disposal. Social envy set aside, I think it's hilarious that they're fantasizing about private islands on one day and try to play relatable everyday persons the next.

by Anonymous | reply 51 | May 28, 2023 8:48 PM |
I'm totally buying the divorce rumors. I think they've been separated for a while already and will divorce soon. It's been five years of marriage, that's enough. We'll still be "treated" to all the angst, drama, court filings over custody, property, child support, alimony, etc. As well as the interviews, articles, documentaries of their divorce and the inevitable memoirs.
The SouthParkle's cottage industry will carry on.

by Anonymous | reply 53 | May 28, 2023 9:34 PM |
I think they are encouraging divorce rumors to distract from the embarrassment of their 2 hour sham car chase. But I would think Harry would die before he admitted he chose the wrong wife and Meghan knows her prestige drops when she divorces.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | May 28, 2023 10:26 PM |
They backed each other against their own families too hard. Too many "told you so" type comments coming at them if they split. Piers Morgan and all the other people she ghosted will be in seventh heaven. And Bogart, the dog she adopted because Ellen supposedly told her to but who she ditched because he didn't like Harry, what became of him? There's never been any updates.
If Dimbo is spending time at hotels on his own, it's likely to be her idea. He's too ugly, petty and stupid for anyone to tolerate for long. He needs to travel all the way from Montecito to LA to attempt to get his manboobs, double chin and gut in order? Hardly an example of a sustainable lifestyle.

Apparently after the drug and porn bust at the home Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates shared (where they lived with their baby and her daughters), Hutchence feared not being allowed to tour with INXS in the US if he received a conviction for possessing drugs. Given he'd freely admitted in interviews years before to snorting heroin and taking lots of drugs, as other stars who travelled/travel to the US did/do, it's probably going to take more than just self-admitted drug use for Dimbo to be kicked out.
Bummer.

Well, something good came from their stans. They've raised $105K for a charity that builds playgrounds in low income areas.
I wonder if Archewell has donated this much collectively over the last year. That would be an awful lot of sandwich trays and Starbucks gift cards. They made it sound like they'd footed the entire cost for the Uvalde playground when the donation was $10K.

Although it’s almost the standard in Western countries these days, the Crown Prince and Princess both seem pretty old traditionally (28 & 29).
