If you have a crush on someone, does it make everyone resemble your crush in some way?

I've noticed this with myself. If I have a crush on somebody, I'll suddenly see a bunch of people who look just like my crush---on the streets, in movies.

No.

Not to me, but there’s a guy on Scruff in my area who looks almost exactly like Pedro Pascal. But I’m too afraid to message him because I know the first thing I’ll say is “you look just like Pedro Pascal” and he probably hears it everyday and then he’ll block me.

But nobody else looks like Pedro to me.

Did you ever end up passing the nclex, OP?

by Anonymousreply 4May 24, 2023 12:44 AM

Miss OP, my IQ score just lost 30 points after reading your post.

by Anonymousreply 5May 24, 2023 1:11 AM

OP- That is your reticular activating system.

Pretty cool thing actually!!!!

by Anonymousreply 6May 24, 2023 1:13 AM

Yes, OP. This happens to me.

Then I develop crushes on other guys who vaguely resemble the initial guy.

Sigh.

Is your crush in your program or outside your major?

by Anonymousreply 8May 24, 2023 1:20 AM

PMBT. Who is that?

Even your father, brother, or uncle? That sounds so delusional schizoaffective.

Has the price of used textbooks been affected since the COVID pandemic began?

I had a crush on a good friend who died, and I do see him in quite a few actors. Tom Ellis, Jon Hamm, Paul Rudd, and especially early Indiana Jones Harrison Ford. Both in physical appearance and personality.

R12, did he have a great ass?

by Anonymousreply 13May 24, 2023 2:13 AM

I don't really pay attention to asses, but he did have a good body.

Program Major Book Troll, R9.

This very much reads like a pmbt thread.

by Anonymousreply 15May 24, 2023 2:23 AM

that's one of the weirdest things i've ever heard but not in a bad way. do you generally find that people look alike? some people don't distinguish as easily between faces.

[quote] some people don't distinguish as easily between faces.

Including Brad Pitt.
