R151 this just triggered in me a comical fantasy visual of Riley hand-digging a grave at Graceland in front of that gaudy fountain, with Priscilla standing by her side: "Alright grandma, get in." Priscilla obliges, her plasticine face slowly covered with Memphis dirt until she succumbs to suffocation.

The headline here and resulting stories are wrong. No one has said that Priscilla was not going to be buried at Graceland in the final agreement. The tone was conciliatory and made it sound like the former Mrs. Presley would be buried there - they just shut up about the details.

Maybe the granddaughter resents Priscilla for getting Lisa Marie into Scientology, and cannot forgive her for that.

R156 is Riley a Scientologist? I assume she was at least raised in it, as Lisa Marie and Danny Keough were both members. I read that Riley was mostly homeschooled—while this is not totally atypical for someone who has famous parents, it is EXTREMELY common among $cienos, who are insular and prefer their own brand of "education" (i.e. indoctrination and complete brainwashing). I've never read/heard anything from her directly discussing it. She seems reasonably intelligent and I would like to think she is savvy enough to have dodged that bullet, but that level of indoctrination is strong. We know that Lisa Marie had quit practicing it in the years before she died, so I am hoping Riley did the same.

Perhaps not coincidentally, Riley was in a movie in 2019 called "The Lodge" where she played the daughter of a cult leader (portrayed by her dad) who was the sole survivor of their mass suicide. While vacationing in a remote lodge with her new boyfriend and his kids, she loses her fucking marbles. I thought it was a grim and powerful movie that didn't quite get the audience it deserved. Very moody and at times legitimately scary. She was truly outstanding in it. I walked out of the theater thinking to myself, "That girl could win an Oscar one day."

I wonder where Lisa got all that internalized homophobia. Her mother? Scientology?
