Was Meg Foster Too Lesbonic?

Or just a nasty piece of work?

by Anonymousreply 20May 17, 2023 1:28 AM

she never touched me

by Anonymousreply 1May 15, 2023 3:40 PM

Why start a thread about Meg Foster without including a photo showcasing her eerie, icy-blue eyes?

by Anonymousreply 2May 15, 2023 4:01 PM

R2

she said being fired for being a lesbian ruined her career, but her IMDB shows she worked a LOT after that

by Anonymousreply 3May 15, 2023 4:08 PM

People always confuse with Jodie Foster.

by Anonymousreply 4May 15, 2023 4:22 PM

I'm afraid of dicks

by Anonymousreply 5May 15, 2023 4:26 PM

Nevermind, I'll do it myself.

She was the uncanny Kirstie Alley...

by Anonymousreply 7May 15, 2023 8:38 PM

Scary looking eyes, inhuman.

by Anonymousreply 8May 15, 2023 9:31 PM

Her wiki says nothing about her being a lesbian.

Beautiful woman, though.

by Anonymousreply 9May 16, 2023 12:35 AM

In high school our teacher showed us The Scarlet Letter with Meg and those eyes....

by Anonymousreply 10May 16, 2023 12:39 AM

She's almost like the American Charlotte Rampling.

by Anonymousreply 11May 16, 2023 12:42 AM

I loved her version of "The Scarlet Letter".

by Anonymousreply 12May 16, 2023 2:10 AM

She was really weird in Stepfather II. Like she was zoned out and high on tranquilizers or something. She seems that way in a lot of the parts she plays, and maybe that’s why she didn’t have as much success.

by Anonymousreply 13May 16, 2023 2:33 AM

I remember seeing her in The Osterman Weekend 40 years ago and thinking, dang, those are icy eyeballs. Many years later, I thought Kirstie Alley might be a relative of hers.

by Anonymousreply 14May 16, 2023 2:35 AM

Her ex-husband was quite comely back in the day.

She wasn't, but she was fired for being one..

by Anonymousreply 16May 16, 2023 5:09 PM

They could have her play Rebecca Howe in the Frasier reboot. It would be disrespectful to the memory of Kirstie Alley.

by Anonymousreply 17May 16, 2023 6:50 PM

This woman proves the rarely said " these eyes are too blue" It almost looks demonic

by Anonymousreply 18May 16, 2023 8:23 PM

I came here to say what R13 said. In the several things I’ve seen her in she’s an intense staring weirdo. Blink dammit!!!!

by Anonymousreply 19May 16, 2023 8:30 PM

Interesting that Foster played Katrina Van Tassle in an adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, with a young Jeff Goldblum perfectly cast as Ichabod Crane and former football star Dick Butkis as Bram Bones. I actually really liked that version of the film and thought it was just as good as the much more elaborate Tim Burton version of it years later. Though the Disney animated version narrated (and sung) by Bing Crosby is still my favorite.
