R13 only reminds me of how much better the animated HBO adaptation of Spawn is compared to the live-action, from the acting to the direction to the script and the score. It's simply more serious and deep. And the visuals in the animation are just beautiful and entrancing--shadowy derelict quiet sub/urban landscapes never looked so lovely.
