Having some experience with hairpieces, I would say yes, because there is a regression of the hairline on the sides as well as thinner density on temples that doesn’t blend, even with a fade cut it should be denser. And you cannot see his scalp, this is caused by not thinning the piece properly, or that it’s been repeatedly colored, which darkens the netting and base. Another giveaway is that they colored his hair darkest brown- this hides any telltale difference of shade with his own hair color. Anything lighter would reflect different shades while under the bright lights of a studio and in front of the camera.

Very very few people have this kind of density atop their head, and if they do, it is thick throughout the perimeter of scalp, think a swarthy Moroccan or Arab guy. And no matter how thick, you should see a scalp parting or “flow”.

A really good, undetectable hairpiece needs constant attention and maintenance very few people can afford to keep up with.

Also, the blonde lead in Glamourous has an obvious one, most hairpiece hair comes from Asia and always has an orangey undertone when highlighted.
