Is anyone watching "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" ?
Is anyone watching the Bridgerton spin-off series "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" ? I started it tonight and it's just OK (the way the original 2 episodes of 'Bridgerton' was the last few years). It's a Shonda Rimes production, so you know what to expect.
2 of the actresses were on 'The View' yesterday, and of course, Sunny was trembling all over and squealing with delight - telling them that she watched all 6 of the 'amazing' episodes. Sara and Alyssa played pom-pom girls to Sunny's head cheerleader. That's why I'm giving it a shot - to see if I'll be as easily amazed as Sunny.

As someone who appreciates actual history, Colorblind casting is bullshit. Imagine remaking the woman king with white women? Stay in your lanes. There is enough real life history to draw historically accurate stories from.

I liked it about as much as Bridgestone, maybe a bit more than Season 2. I really liked the actress who plays young Agatha, she did a great job. I was a little less impressed by young Charlotte. I enjoyed the gay love story, & have always really liked contemporary Charlotte (she reminds me of Maya Rudolph) & Agatha.

I finally saw all 6 episodes.
It was so beautiful! Both the message and the clothing and set design. Wow!
I loved the love story as well. It was probably all made up but it was so, so special.
Poor King George. Only now am I finding out that this George is THE King George, who lost the colonies. 😳😱
The actor was absolutely gorgeous! Surprised this didn’t have more viewers or commenters because of this.

It was nice, I really liked it. But honestly, I liked it because I immediately decided it was a complete fantasy with a black queen and a white king. It has nothing to do with any reality, really, no matter what it was "supposed to be." It was fantasy, and it was fun.

R5, it's not "colorblind" - the black characters are supposed to be black.
Imagine ranting about a show without even watching it. Why don't you stay in your lane and stick to Fox News or KKK rallies
