Nicole Kidman is probably my favourite. She is almost perfection, but for the black shoes.

Not really a fan of Leto, but that he out-catted Doja Cat (who is sporting prosthetics again, thinking she's still somehow original and outrageous), made me laugh. And Leto's Choupette costume appears to be beautifully made.

Typically, I'd call that a stunt, but it's thematically appropriate, didn't involve clearing the carpet for a fucking PERFORMANCE, and as I said, I think it's beautifully made.

They haven’t been coming because the gala was infiltrated by “stars” of social media. I don’t think those who work in television or films or theatre or music or fashion or the world of beauty take kindly to that. Also they tend to hate reality tv stars in their spaces.

There were reports Anna was doing away with all reality tv and influencers coming this year because many felt they “cheapened” the Met Gala and she was trying to bring it back to the A-List event it always was. And it’s obvious that’s what happened this year. She originally wasn’t inviting any Kardashians but she ended up inviting 3 of them that have successful ventures off the show.

Paris Hilton has never been invited. This was her first year and was there because Marc Jacobs invited her. Anna has to approve whoever the designers etc. invite to be at their tables so she approved Paris this year.
