Accomplished actress of film, stage and screen. Ya’ll fans? I liked her Suzanne Sommers look from 1978.

Forgotten lady but very cute in her day. Had to be very talented to keep up with Robert Morse.

She was in Funny Girl!!

by Anonymousreply 2April 30, 2023 4:34 PM

SHE TRASHED STREISAND!!!!

by Anonymousreply 3April 30, 2023 6:52 PM

Her portrayal of actress Natalie Schafer in Surviving Gilligan's Island was brilliant. She acted the hell out of the role, and at the same time demonstrated tremendous respect for Ms. Schafer. Shoulda won an Emmy.

Interesting, OP. I did forget about her. And now I think I used to confuse her with Jaye P. Morgan, for no real reason except the initials in their names. She was cute!

Speaking of that show in the link, I could have sworn that when Robert Morse died, people here were saying he was gay. However, I see that he was married twice and had five children. I'm probably misremembering what was said here.

I’m watching the 1978 episode of Wonder Woman she appears on. Robert Sampson is in this episode too. What a hottie!!!!

by Anonymousreply 6January 1, 2024 3:44 PM

She was in “Hello, Dolly!” not “Funny Girl.”

by Anonymousreply 7January 1, 2024 3:46 PM

Holy fuck Rick Springfield is special guest in this one too! I’m watching it on Max.

Oh, dear.

by Anonymousreply 9January 1, 2024 4:13 PM

She was steadily employed on game shows. What would they pay in the 70’s?

by Anonymousreply 10January 1, 2024 4:29 PM

R1 that long-forgotten show also guest starred MURDERER Paul Lynde!

by Anonymousreply 11January 1, 2024 4:29 PM

That's not a picture of Barbara Eden? Seriously, I thought that's who it was.

by Anonymousreply 12January 1, 2024 4:37 PM

EJ Peaker you bitch your12

by Anonymousreply 13January 1, 2024 4:43 PM

R4 I remember seeing that show. I didn't even realize it was E.J. Peaker in that role until I saw the end credits.

by Anonymousreply 14January 1, 2024 5:06 PM

R16 she exists and has acting credits.

by Anonymousreply 18January 1, 2024 7:54 PM

I tried watching that episode of "That's Life" and made it through the first number. 26 weeks of Robert Morse's hideous face and off-key caterwauling... I'm surprised it lasted that long.

by Anonymousreply 19January 1, 2024 8:08 PM

I was in Funny Girl you bitch!

by Anonymousreply 20January 1, 2024 8:16 PM

^^^^ Don't forget me, Anne Francis I was in "Hello, Dolly.". Although most of my part never made it to the screen. 😡

by Anonymousreply 21January 1, 2024 8:51 PM

SCREAMING JAVELINS

by Anonymousreply 22January 1, 2024 9:44 PM

Anne you were ALMOST in Funny Girl. Babs burnt your edited out scenes in a backyard barbecue pit. At least you were in the credits. Babs ran out of Wite-Out.

by Anonymousreply 23January 1, 2024 10:54 PM

R18=Viola Davis

by Anonymousreply 24January 1, 2024 11:05 PM

r23 You are quite correct, it WAS "Funny Girl" rather than "Hello, Dolly." Weren't Anne and Barbra actually in one quick scene together on the dock, before Fanny gets on the boat?

by Anonymousreply 25January 2, 2024 1:23 AM

Very quick. Anne says, 'But is it right for Nick?!' and Babs says, 'I'll make it right for him!'

by Anonymousreply 26January 2, 2024 6:42 AM

She looks like Barbara Eden and Lois Nettleson.

by Anonymousreply 27January 2, 2024 7:03 AM

Though it wasn't on the dock it was in the railway station when Fanny says she's not continuing with the tour. Then Anne was supposed to have a big scene with Babs where she reveals what's happening to Nick. The scene was instead given to Kay Medford. But then this causes Fanny to go behind Nick's back to invest in a gambling casino. This so enrages Nick he gets involved in an embezzlement scheme which lands him in jail where he decides to end his marriage with Fanny. All caused by a mother in law meddling.

r28 YOU, my friend, are a fountain of knowledge concerning movies. A hat tip to you. 🎩 😁

by Anonymousreply 29January 2, 2024 2:17 PM

EJ Peaker first came to this gayling's attention back in the one-season sitcom The Governor and JJ.

by Anonymousreply 34January 2, 2024 9:39 PM

OP- In your photo- as one or two people have said

TOTALLY

Barbara Eden.

by Anonymousreply 35January 2, 2024 9:43 PM

[quote] EJ Peaker first came to this gayling's attention back in the one-season sitcom The Governor and JJ.

I'm sure she'd find that surprising since she wasn't in it.

by Anonymousreply 36January 2, 2024 9:55 PM

Lol it must have been her seven appearances on Love, American Style.

by Anonymousreply 37January 3, 2024 5:07 AM

I love todays Episode of wonder woman on the H and I channel it’s called the screaming javelins. Starring EJ Peaker, Rick Springfield, Henry Gibson And sexy Robert Callard! Melanie Chartoff as Nadia is a drip.

by Anonymousreply 38June 8, 2024 3:48 PM

ELANIE JOYCE was the one who trashed Streisand.

by Anonymousreply 39June 8, 2024 4:34 PM

She looks like Carbara Eden in op’s pic

by Anonymousreply 40June 8, 2024 11:28 PM

I saw her decades ago on some local TV show, maybe it was even Skip E. Lowe. At any rate, she was super religious and spoke of her not wanting to do anything the Lord didn't want her to.

by Anonymousreply 41June 8, 2024 11:31 PM

Carbara Eden? Is that a diet thing?

by Anonymousreply 42June 8, 2024 11:36 PM

Good for her r41
