Because, you freaking dumbass, Citadel Season 2 is already in Pre-Production. It received a two season commitment from Amazon because it was such a high profile project. Given the immense production problems which plagued the first season, it would be unlikely Madden would have been chosen because he would need an open schedule, even if Gladiator 2 managed to film the principal photography before Citadel Season 2 began filming, because he would need to be pulled away from Citadel for reshoots, as well as commit to market a global theatrical release. No one would hire him for a major production right now. He can only do these small little films like he is doing right now.

Pre-production doesn’t mean it’s filming. That means everything that needs to be done before filming starts is happening. Pre-production takes months in most cases.

Wanna know why Madden is filming that love triangle movie RIGHT NOW with Shailene Woodley and Joseph Gordon Levitt? Because he has nothing going on right now. They just started filming that a couple of weeks ago! Clearly you didn’t think before posting.
