Hmmm, re Page's guitar playing, his contemporaries would not agree with you at all. Page is an amazing guitarist. Have you heard Zeppelin’s live recordings? Guess not. Page has spent years remastering Led Zeppelin's main catalogue as well as the many live recordings which weren't released during the time Zep's live gigs were recorded. Led Zeppelin were an incredible live band.

Do you know how many famous hit songs Page has played on as a session musician? He’s played on hit songs by The Who, The Kinks, Tom Jones, he even played lead guitar on Shirley Bassey’s “Goldfinger" , there are way too many other songs to list. Bassist John Paul Jones, like Page, was a seasoned session musician, he’s a multi-instrumentalist. Bonham was not my favorite drummer, but he suited Led Zeppelin’s heavy sound. I will admit, on some Zep recordings and live in concert, occasionally Bonham's drumming was excellent. I never thought Bonham was a consist drummer, especially as his own drug addiction escalated.
