Gwyneth’s hair is fried. Her hair would be so much healthier if she went back to her natural color. Yes, she would have to cover the grey, but it would be better than bleach. The blonde washes her out, as well.

Barbra Streisand. She's been making her hair lighter and blond throughout her 70s and now in her 80s, I assume to blend in with the grey. She also does that flat-ironed part in the middle which takes her back 50 years (to 'What's Up Doc ?' ). She looked better 40 years ago with auburn hair.

So many people mistake normal, natural aging for getting a nose job. Hell, my nose was very wide as a kid (I was even teased and called "n****r nose" by my brother, no joke) and 40 years later you'd never believe I hadn't gotten a nose job if you looked at my childhood pics. It's normal for faces (and noses) to lose the layer of "baby fat" of youth.

Not saying people DON'T get nose jobs, of course, but I've seen so many accusations of nose jobs when all it really looks to me is the loss of youthful fullness.

Same, r13. Girls (and guys) noses do change from their teens to mid-twenties. Some naturally appear to thin out, and others may grow more bulbous. For female celebs, look to their mothers to see what they’re likely to look like once they’ve fully grown. Goop didn’t have a nose job.

Back before women shaved down there you’d catch a few actresses whose carpet and drapes don’t match. On the other hand Julianne Moore’s pantless scene in Short Cuts proved she was a natural redhead.

Your nose is mostly bone and cartilage, NOT FAT. Losing weight doesn't change the shape of your nose. If your nose gets smaller over time, it's because you had a nose job.

I don't understand why stans can't handle the fact that a TON of stars have had plastic surgery and a nose job is the most common form of surgery for them to have

R18 that’s just not true. It’s common for it to become thinner and more prominent. People used to hate prominent noses a lot more than they do now so it was considered a negative . Now “cute “ noses are a negative.

For some reason I feel like Sarah Michelle Gellar had to go blonde in order to play Buffy. Like it wasn't even her choice. And then she just became too recognizable as a blonde to go back. I've seen several pics from the mid 2010s where she has medium brown and a very dark brown hair, and she just looks weird in them. Unrecognizable. (Although she looked very good with medium brown hair).

Most women with dark hair usually wind up doing the Mary Tyler Moore / Barbara Walters hair. They started out dark and wound up a light golden brown - it is much more flattering to the face. …..I am female - I have a really good head of hair - I have always likened it to Diane Sawyer’s . It looks best with my coloring if it is a light Butterscotch color. I was totally game to let my har grow out gray during Covid but I looked like a witch-hunt. Or Martha Raditz. …… My beautiful friend Kathleen needs an intervention. She sees herself as Audrey Hepburn. She colors her own hair a one tone dark color that makes her look old. Then she wears these awful “Gamine” short short bangs. Bad. She would looks SO a much better with a loose Bob and a lighter hair color with some gray here and there.

R21 I can't really picture Buffy as anything but a California blonde. The same way i think her character being a brunette in Cruel Intentions was the right choice. But they probably also wanted to make her stand out next to Cordelia.

Kelly Ripa is a bottle blonde. Her natural hair, which she's sported during pregnancy, is the ultimate mousy brown. Even if she didn't go blonde, I think almost any stylist would have suggested dying it a different shade of brown.

Leslie Bibb started dying her hair blonde for the show Popular. At the time she was pretty vocal about how she hated being blonde and went back to being a brunette literally as soon as the show ended. At some point, though, she decided to go back to being blonde--and tbh she looks much better as a blonde.

Gellar's cut in season six was actually cute and I thought that colour suited her before she returned to sporting her long Farrah locks. All the long blonde hair really harkens back to that iconic do from the 70's.

James Marsters was even worse after all of the bleaching for Spike. A bleeding scalp would not be fun.

I wasn't a fan of the cut, but i liked the colour. I think she had just finished filming Scooby Doo.

One of the best comebacks on The Nanny was between Niles and C.C. having one of their typically showdowns and Niles calls her...brunette.
