Priscilla Presley to sell $16 million Beverly Hills mansion after 45 years.

Priscilla Presley has put her long-time home in Beverly Hills on the market for $15.995 million.

The ex-wife of late Elvis Presley, 74, have called her storybook-style villa in Beverly Hills, California, a home for the past 45 years, per Los Angeles Times.

Priscilla listed the property on the market on Monday, March 27th, 2023, for the first time in nearly four and a half decades, according to the listing with Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland.

Per Mansion Global, last spring, she also parted with another longtime property in nearby Brentwood, selling it after just three weeks on the market for above its asking price.

The outlet detailed that the property is set over an acre of land and tucked away behind double gates, the Mediterranean-style spread is a “true sanctuary offering privacy and seclusion that is so rare today,” reads the listing and it “has been lovingly maintained by the current owner.”

The seven-bedroom property has a number of entertainment spaces, including the formal living room, the dining room and the library, and nearly every room opens out onto the verdant garden, according to the listing.

Outside, a separate guest suite is above the garage, and gardens house a pool and tennis court.

The news of the listing comes as Priscilla is suing her granddaughter Riley Keough over the ownership of the Presley’s Graceland property.

Days after the funeral of her and Elvis’ only child, Lisa Marie Presley, the former actress filed a petition in Los Angeles in January questioning the “authenticity and validity” of a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie’s trust, which removed Priscilla as a co-trustee and put Riley in charge.

Marrying Elvis Presley was her ticket to Whealth.

by Anonymousreply 1April 1, 2023 1:36 PM

Whelcome to the board.

by Anonymousreply 2April 1, 2023 1:38 PM

That face!

by Anonymousreply 3April 1, 2023 1:38 PM

Unsurprisingly, the property looks like a Busch Gardens amusement park. Or maybe a Crypt Keeper Amusement Park.

R2- I used the microphone to dictate my words. It’s not a good speller.

by Anonymousreply 5April 1, 2023 1:40 PM

Time for the bitch to cash out.

by Anonymousreply 6April 1, 2023 1:43 PM

I bet she paid maybe $500,000 for the house in 1977 which sounds dirt cheap now but was a huge sum back then.

by Anonymousreply 7April 1, 2023 1:44 PM

It sounds like a beautiful home. I wonder why she's selling it after so long?

by Anonymousreply 8April 1, 2023 1:45 PM

Very nice. I can see why she stayed there for 45 years.

R16- The interior looks better that the tackyish exterior would suggest.

by Anonymousreply 18April 1, 2023 1:56 PM

She looks 1/2 cocked in that picture

by Anonymousreply 19April 1, 2023 1:57 PM

She was still SO pretty when she appeared on the tv show Dallas in the 1980's.

Christopher Atkins was pretty too ca. 1984

Narcissistic and histrionic personality disorders and body dysmorphic disorder are the three most common psychiatric conditions encountered in patients seeking cosmetic surgery.

Looking at you, Priscilla.

by Anonymousreply 22April 1, 2023 2:07 PM

I agree, she was prettier in 1984

by Anonymousreply 23April 1, 2023 2:08 PM

The interior is very tasteful. I would live there.

by Anonymousreply 24April 1, 2023 2:11 PM

I don't think she'll be alive in 45 years so she should sell it now if she wants to.

by Anonymousreply 25April 1, 2023 2:15 PM

I’ll have 1/2 of what she’s having (in Op’s pic)

by Anonymousreply 26April 1, 2023 2:15 PM

10 Long Island Iced Teas?

by Anonymousreply 27April 1, 2023 2:22 PM

Its been sold already according to the listing with the selling agent. Looks really nice going by the pics I see in this thread, I quite like the exterior too, although it seems a bit big

I wonder where she's moving to?

She was born in Brooklyn just like that dl icon Mary Tyler Moore.

by Anonymousreply 29April 1, 2023 2:29 PM

I wonder why she's seemingly liqudating everything - or at least properties in CA.

Who wasn't?

by Anonymousreply 31April 1, 2023 2:40 PM

Fillers are evil.

by Anonymousreply 32April 1, 2023 2:40 PM

For those wondering why she’s selling: She’s OLD! Surrounded by all that empty space, the astronomical upkeep — it makes sense she’s handing off her mansions. Maybe she moves into a small (think 3 bedrooms..) apartment that can accommodate her future needs. Think of everything on one and the same floor, elevators, etc.

by Anonymousreply 33April 1, 2023 2:41 PM

She should do a Golden Girls type reality show, with Brendad Ickson.

by Anonymousreply 34April 1, 2023 2:44 PM

The mansion seemed underpriced for California. Are there any west coast realtors here who could comment?

by Anonymousreply 35April 1, 2023 3:04 PM

What Dutchie at r33 said.

She'll probably downsize and purchase a lux, small condo in one of those pricey, exclusive "senior living" buildings, and that's totally understandable.

And if the gossip I read here is correct, that her son Navarone needs financial help, she'll probably help with his separate living expenses, too.

I always remember the wise words of an older relative who was purchasing a home. I was a young adult who, when it came to a house, only saw bigger is better,

Even though she had the money for a pricey, big home on a local lake, instead she went modest and small on a portion of river frontage. She told me:

"If you've got the money, buying it is the easy part. It's the taxes and maintenance I don't want."

by Anonymousreply 36April 1, 2023 3:16 PM

She was my childhood idol!

Cilla’s overlords at Clam Central need all the Elvis money.

[quote]She'll probably downsize and purchase a lux, small condo in one of those pricey, exclusive "senior living" buildings, and that's totally understandable.

WTF?

Or maybe she'll buy a camper and See America, one Walmart parking lot at a time, freed of property tax and roof maintenance concerns. Should medical issues arise, she can do always order in day help.

by Anonymousreply 39April 1, 2023 3:33 PM

R39 did that comment trigger you?

by Anonymousreply 40April 1, 2023 3:47 PM

It does seem somewhat underpriced given Beverly Hills Gateway is most expensive real estate in LA. Maybe it needs lots of repairs or something.

by Anonymousreply 41April 1, 2023 3:55 PM

It seems the most expensive properties are just empty land. Strange.

by Anonymousreply 42April 1, 2023 4:00 PM

It sold in 2020.

by Anonymousreply 43April 1, 2023 4:06 PM

The new "mansion tax" (effective today) doesn't apply to Beverly Hills, but perhaps she knows she isn't going to get much from the estate?

by Anonymousreply 44April 1, 2023 4:07 PM

Newsflash - Many people in LA are having fire sales on their mansions because there is a "Mansion Tax" about to take effect. Even Marky Mark is trying to unload his huge tacky mansion at fire sale prices.

by Anonymousreply 45April 1, 2023 4:08 PM

And yes Priscilla has been long divorced from the long dead Elvis. She should keep her paws off Elvis's estate.

by Anonymousreply 46April 1, 2023 4:12 PM

Priscilla doesn't need Elvis's money. She's very shrewd with a dollar. She's trying to prevent his estate and legacy falling into the hands of that British grifter and his creepy twins- and Riley's hillbilly other family.

by Anonymousreply 47April 1, 2023 4:17 PM

I agree R47. This is her move to protect Graceland and the Elvis estate from the grifters Lisa Marie attached herself to. In fact, I’d bet Riley supports it.

by Anonymousreply 48April 1, 2023 4:22 PM

Well Riley can take control, and then consult with Priscilla on appropriate executors. I suppose Riley could even hire Priscilla as director of a foundation, etc.

by Anonymousreply 49April 1, 2023 4:24 PM

What a beautiful structure - and the landscaping is truly amazing.

by Anonymousreply 50April 1, 2023 4:30 PM

Beverly Hills won’t be affected by the mansion tax

It’s not part of Los Angeles

by Anonymousreply 51April 1, 2023 4:43 PM

The mansion tax also applies to apartments? That’s fucking stupid. LA needs more multiunit housing than ever.

Why the fuck did they include apartments?

by Anonymousreply 52April 1, 2023 4:45 PM

^Because it only applies to homes sales greater than $5M. There aren't a ton of apartments/condos selling for that in LA, and the ones that do have nil effect on multiunit housing supply.

by Anonymousreply 53April 1, 2023 5:01 PM

I'm looking for a neighbor!

by Anonymousreply 54April 1, 2023 5:05 PM

That Cielo property has to have the worst vibes ever. Even before the Manson murders, the lot was spooky and seemed to harbor apparitions and bad juju. Apparently now it's haunted as hell. Nobody is ever going to want that house.

by Anonymousreply 57April 1, 2023 7:52 PM

A big part is probably of the tax is probably to reduce these monstrosities being built on spec for $100mm that are all running into problems - see the Hadid grifter's businesses.

This guy's channel does a bunch of interesting takes on such properties, as well as some of the huge white elephants over the years.

Its a gorgeous house,I even like the decor. Mind you Id have to do a little editing, but overall not ugly. If I had really thought about it when I bought my current home,Id have gone even smaller. We only use like 4 rooms, and its a bitch to keep up with cleaning and maintenance. On the bright side,we bought 2 years ago and its valued at $150,000 more than we paid.Essentially it cost us nothing as we used the money from our old house to pay for this one.

by Anonymousreply 66April 2, 2023 9:20 PM
