Teen On Spring Break In Mexico Dies After Plunging Off Balcony

One realizes young people often lack common sense, but this is just too bad.

Why not simply reach out to hotel staff and let them fetch the errant object?

He was a very striking looking young guy. Not handsome, exactly, but his face is hard to forget.

by Anonymousreply 4March 26, 2023 5:51 AM

Gee, all of that for trying to retrieve an ID card.

OSU student. Say no more. People from Ohio are basic, dumb fucks. Even the smart ones who leave. OSU is a football state school for idiots. Trashy, dumb, white people love to vacation in Mexico. They still think it's the 2000s era Real World from MTv.

Dumb guy lived a dumb life and died a dumb death.

Pssst! Hey Bub! Deceased was from New Jersey, not Ohio.

I worked at an amusement park & remember a guest hopped a fence to retrieve a fallen baseball cap, & was struck & killed by an oncoming rollercoaster.

Recently a woman died in Mexico (?) after jumping into water to fetch her sandals, & was sucked into a boat propellor.

This is just so sad. Young life full of so much promise snuffed out by a moment poor judgement.

Why does every NYPost article get auto posted here? Is it a bot?

by Anonymousreply 10March 26, 2023 6:44 AM

It doesn't pay to help a damsel in distress. Let her retrieve her ID or phone herself.

R10 high percentage of posters are from there. You’re just hyper vigilant to them because it’s a “conservative rag!”

“Must live in liberal echo chamber!”

Bad decisions are always apparent after the outcome.

I thought it was going to be another selfie taker but this is really sad because he was trying to help somebody.

by Anonymousreply 14March 26, 2023 7:39 AM

Sad, he was so young...

[quote] The Ohio State University student was the second person to fall from the third floor of the Melia this month, Noticias Puerto Vallarta reported.

Never ever get a room with a balcony. Balconies are so dangerous anymore.

He’s uncut.

by Anonymousreply 17March 26, 2023 7:51 AM

I remember one Spring Break in the 80s when three guys on three different nights fell off of hotel balconies.

It happens every year.

Richard Gere was right in Pretty Woman to be scared of balconies

OP buried the lede:

He was cute and twinkish
