What do you mean by "colony?" Because there are and have been countless communes, but we've never had a sovereign nation nor a part of one, exclusively. We've also never "colonised" part of another country, in the strict sense. There are gay villages and enclaves in nearly every large city and many small ones, too. There are also gay meccas like San Francisco or Fire Island, where gay people predominate and maybe even form a majority. But there's never been a geographic jurisdiction where homosexuality or embracing a gay identity was required for residency..

It's impossible. Even the gayborhoods or gay towns mentioned have plenty of straight residents and political leaders. I think if it could happen, we would have to make a gay cult or religion. The new city or colony would be a "haven' for our fellow believers. But there never has been a gay religion, and if it did exist, it couldn't last for anthropological reasons.

Ok. So I live in Denver. Famous for having 300 days of sunshine a year and for being about 150 feet from the sun.

I'm 50 and I've met 30 years olds with so much skin damage, wrinkles and crows feet that even the 30 year olds can't pass for 30.

I didn't grow up here and still don't have wrinkles or crows feet. I have completely silver hair and I think I look 50. But I also think that I look younger than most 30 year old Denver natives.

There are plenty of gay enclaves, I think most gay men though are perfectly happy to integrate with the straights as long as they get the respect and equal opportunities that they do. There's definitely a percentage of gay men who live what I would call exclusively 'gay lives' where their entire existence revolves around the gay scene, gay culture etc. only have gay friends, work for gay companies and etc but I would strongly suspect that's a minority and the majority of gay men live pretty similarly to non-gay people, the only real difference is who they fuck.

Since there would be no schools to operate, revenue from property tax could finance all necessary plastic surgery and weight loss medication.
