Waukegan police are asking for help finding Seamus Gray, who is missing, a 21-year-old member of the U.S. Navy who has disappeared without a trace since early Saturday morning.

Seamus was reportedly at Naval Station Great Lakes on Friday night before heading down to Waukegan to join in the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations — but was never heard from again afterward.

If anyone has seen or heard any recent information about his disappearance, they are encouraged to contact local police as soon as possible.

Detectives have discovered crucial video evidence that shows Gray leaving Ibiza Bar in Waukegan alone. He was last seen at the Sheridan Road and Washington Street intersection at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday.

As a result, the Waukegan Police and Fire Departments have conducted a thorough search of the area around Ibiza Bar as well as the lakefront, but still haven’t been able to locate Gray.

After speaking with Gray’s mother, who came to Waukegan from out of town to help find her son, CBS 2’s Jermont Terry reported she had seen the surveillance footage from the bar.

For now, detectives are only considering this a missing persons case.

Gray’s story has become increasingly worrisome due to additional video of an altercation involving her son and a group of people.

The incident was caught by security cameras, and Gray is yet to be located since his disappearance last Thursday.

His family are continuing the frantic search for him, carefully combing the area in hopes of finding either him or clues that could lead to his whereabouts.

Without any news from his naval base, Gray’s mother fears the worst as each passing day goes by without any trace of her beloved son.

A manhunt is underway for Gray, who is wanted in multiple states, and his mother has mentioned that the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is also involved in the case.

He stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs around 170 pounds; he has blue eyes, brown hair and multiple tattoos on his left arm, with a script tattoo on his ribcage.

On the day of his disappearance, he was last observed wearing a light pink or red long sleeve shirt paired with trousers.

Any relevant details or information should be reported to the Waukegan Police Department using their official app.

All tips are appreciated and will help police officers closer to finding Gray.

The club should have had a camera at the entrance and at least on of them had stepped to go inside which means there should be video of them in the entrance. The prior eight days had been "grueling, nauseating, heartbreaking and quite honestly soul crushing," Gray said earlier. She thanked the community for support and asked for prayers for her son.

"I cannot sleep, and will not sleep until I have answers as to where my son is, and what happened to him," Gray said. "Seamus was assaulted outside of the establishment and was pickpocketed. He had one drink at that bar later that night and one earlier in the night."

Gray said she and a friend had been searching through dumpsters and back alleys for signs of her son.

"My son was an exceptional young man willing to die serving and protecting his country," she said. "He should have been able to safely walk down a street no matter how Preppy he looked."
