He’s a self-absorbed dick but he KNOWS he’s a self-absorbed dick and he manages to have a sense of humor about himself and is capable of real charm. I worked with him twice and he was good company, funny and hard to dislike, though all he talked about was himself.

Everyone always talks about the other "Twilight Zone" episode, but "Nick Of Time" is my favorite of the two.

He did receive stem cell treatment. His liver must be riddled. I thought he had had a liver transplant, but I think I'm wrong. It was some other aged, booze-loving celebrity who got a transplant.

R30, I agree. Although Shatner has a big ego, he's willing to poke fun at himself sometimes. And although his acting can be a little hammy, he made Captain Kirk into a t.v. legend.

Nick of Time was the better written episode on Twilight Zone and it wasn't hampered by poor FX.
