Former ABC talk hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes - who were fired from the network earlier this year when their extramarital affair became a 'distraction' at the network - have pitched a talk show idea to the producers of the former 'Ellen' show.
Robach, whose divorce from actor Andrew Shue was finalized this week, and Holmes have told insiders they don't mind the on-going coverage their affair has generated, and want to use their top-trending status to launch a daytime talk show.
“It’s easier for them to pitch a show if they stay in the news, and they think they’re rock stars. They’re selling their chemistry. They absolutely believe that their chemistry would sell, because it sold at ABC,” the source said.
On Sunday, they return to the United Airlines NYC Half marathon in Manhattan, the same place where their affair first 'blossomed' in 2022.
