She was great with Belmondo in Le Magnifique. Great film, she was absolutely stunning, and speaks fluent french. Goddess.

I saw her once with her then boyfriend Alexander Godunov at Geneva airport. They were both gorgeous. Pity he died so young.

In the 80s, Burt Reynolds dropped hints on the Tonight Show about famous women he had fucked and one was in an "underwater movie"

As a true russian, Godunov died of alcoholism.
But I digress. She was a beauty. Natural, freckled, lovely beauty. Eva Green is a bit like her. She's like the goth version of Jackie Bissett.

I met her once. She was very nice.

Hate to say it OP but Ms Bisset is a Jaqueline not a Jackie!!!

With Belmondo, in The Man From Acapulco (Le Magnifique).

She's great in Francois Truffaut's "Day for Night". Wonderful film, too about movie-making.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 25, 2023 6:27 AM |
My favorite Bisset scene. She has a beautiful man strip naked.

R8 That was Don Knotts in Mr. Limpet
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 25, 2023 12:41 PM |
Beautiful woman. Her chemistry with Steve McQueen in Bullitt was unbelievable.

Very underrated. A real shame that she didn't go the Charlotte Rampling & Kristin Scott Thomas route and pursue a career in the French film industry which is more welcoming to mature actresses than English speaking cinema.
She has appeared in a couple of French films in her later years but I suppose she isn't that interested.
Also wonderful in barely seen The Sleepy Time Gal (2001) and Welcome to New York (2014).

never understood the appeal. Clumsy physique and unmemorable acting. She was like Rampling 2.0, and Rampling is already second best
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 25, 2023 12:52 PM |
Boring

She played lesbian pimp James LeBeau on Nip/Tuck. Her scene where she was kind to the homeless gentleman on Christmas Eve, only to hack him up and use his body for parts for her organ trade - it traumatized me for years.

Because she was quite generic and always available, she managed to carve a career out of the true stars of her era's rejects. Whenever Christie, Farrow et all weren't interested/available, she would be cast. She had that bland, pretty girl next door look that made her a portemanteau actress of the 60s/70s.

Stevie Wonder has weighed in. Thanks, Stevie.

She could have played Stifler's Mom, the Jennifer Coolidge role in American Pie since she was one of the first MILFs with teenaged boys and their Dads jerking off to her

I loved her in that movie with Candice Bergen

No, R 29. Rich and Famous

Rob Lowe was at his peak physical beauty and the closest thing to a male supermodel when he starred in "Class"
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 25, 2023 10:17 PM |
She looked so fat, graceless and square faced compared to the exquisite Hepburn in "two for the road". She looked like a cow

If they did a gender reverse remake with Matt Damon having sex with his daughter's college roommate it would be rated X and accused of peddling pedo grooming porn
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 25, 2023 10:41 PM |
She seems nice in interviews and grounded. I always assumed she spoke French from childhood like Rampling but I think she said in an interview that she barely spoke any French when she made the Truffaut movie.

Wonder how she felt about Andrew McCarthy kissing and telling about their experience working on Class. She seems to value her privacy.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 25, 2023 10:47 PM |
R37 what exactly did he say?
She was beautiful and sexy but never more than an ok actress.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 25, 2023 11:03 PM |
I was more into Cliff Robertson who played her husband than Andrew McCarthy even when I was a teenager
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 25, 2023 11:10 PM |
there was a bunch like her back in the day. Lean, tall, marginally talented, unremarkably pretty models who were cast in big parts. Berenson, Bergen, Shepherd, Rampling, McGraw, jennifer O'neill, Pettet, Tate, Andress, Welch. None of them ever gave a truly good performance. Some of them managed to survive somehow in the industry, so kuddos to them

Peter Sellers behaved like a prick to her in Casino Royale. He deliberately discharged a gun, blanks of course, in her face. This was just before their scene together. Her face was covered with lots of little cuts. She was terrified, she didn't make a fuss, Sellers was a big star and a "comic genius", she was just a bit player.

R43 Shepherd was lean?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | March 25, 2023 11:31 PM |
She was in one of Rebecca Shaeffer's last movies "Scenes from the Class Struggle in a Beverly Hills"
by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 25, 2023 11:33 PM |
Did her pussy stink?
by Anonymous | reply 45 | March 25, 2023 11:38 PM |
R10 speaking of Eva Green, her mother is Marlene Jobert who was a superstar in France but never seemed to have acquired any fame in the English-speaking world.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | March 25, 2023 11:47 PM |
R47 looks very pretty as always but much much older than 38. Yes even without Botox and all that stuff existing, before someone jumps in with that shit,
by Anonymous | reply 48 | March 26, 2023 2:09 AM |
She used to be so pretty
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 26, 2023 2:26 AM |
She is not really tall, I would guess about 5’6” when I met her.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | March 26, 2023 3:45 AM |
I thought JB was an exquisite beauty early in her career, whether fresh-faced and natural or all glammed up like in "Murder on the Orient Express." But by her 40s, her looks seemed to have hardened and her facial features had changed. Maybe it was the lack of fat.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | March 26, 2023 4:08 AM |
"Class" dipped even younger than college-age and into not-even-barely-legal territory since Rob Lowe and Andrew McCarthy were playing Prep School Seniors
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 26, 2023 4:58 AM |
R45 please be considerate of our Floridian Loungers, limiting adult-themed topics and using Disney-friendly language only
by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 26, 2023 5:06 AM |
R18...Yes. The scene in the restaurant, where McQueen comes in and meets up with Bisset....sitting at the table, he glances over to her...and they smile. Subtle, but sexy. I love the Jazz music, too. Very San Francisco.

Wasn’t there tension between her and Nick Nolte during filming of “The Deep”?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 26, 2023 12:48 PM |
She's good in Welcome to New York. Worth watching.
